Wow. Mad business plan is mad.
Maybe there's a use for those licensed games after all...
Will probably the first DS game I've purchased after Portrait of Ruin. This actually looks entertaining, even if they do keep the counter-intuitive "don't use your strong weapon ever" score system.

Yeah. That really felt overly restrictive (I liked the valor bonus, though). Especially since the round spark weapon that killed enemies around your ship was one of the few useful weapons in the game.
You know, say what you will about how Shin'en's games actually play, but these guys freaking know their programming. Every one of their games has amazed me in the sound and graphics departments. They're definitely some of the most talented developers around.
Of course, that's just an opinion. Always seeking netplay fans to play emulated arcade games with.
Everything's so finely tuned in that video, it's made so many strides, and looks like they've toyed with the hitbox too... I bet they've got a winner here. At least, I'm gonna buy it.

Nicely put!
I agree, this definitely looks like a winner.
i got mad at them cuz they promissed the game for summer, and then they just said its scheduled for jan '08... after seeing the latest video and shit, i think im buyin it after all... this game looks awesome, and i wont forget myself if i dont play it... too bad, january its kinda far away yet (for me, 2 months its an eternity!).
H'lo MathU. It seems I'm seeing you everywhere too. =P I've always like Shmups, so it seems weird that i've only just joined this forum... Anyway, thanks for the welcome.
I'm also disappointed that they delayed the game until '08. But i guess it just took longer for them to add all the features they wanted to. (I think they finished it sometimes around the end of august)

Although judging from this, I'd say they know nothing about arcade games.
