In the Virtua Fighter 4 world, as most know, when you pop in your card, your ringname & stats show up in the top right hand of the screen. Being a resident of Japan, and a whitie, I thought long and hard for something befitting of both being a white bastard, and a fighting name. Thus, my name was born. Pretty clever I thought. I used to go to places, pop in the card, and the other side would burst into laughter.
I got sick of thinking up other names for the assload of forums I participated on, so stuck with this one.

OneEyedJack is from about 1995, when I needed an alias to for the local BBSs. I was at a party, and I had a Joker (I still do), I was going to call myself The Joker, which would not have been original seeing how the Batman movies had come out, so I changed to a different card terminology. What is interesting is that I am pretty much the only OneEyedJack on the internet. I never have any issues in getting the name:D

PFG 9000 wrote:At another messageboard, I created the the painfully generic username "Pfloydguy." Yeah, I'm a Pink Floyd fan. Some of the members shortened that to PFG. I happened to be using the Doom guy's face as my avatar, and so the natural progression was to rename myself PFG 9000 in pseudo-reference to Doom's most powerful gun.
In other news, I detest David Lynch and his films with every fiber of my Floydian being.
Alright, time to trot out this ol' chestnut:

A) Because my name is Dylan. B) Because I 1CC'ed Batsugun a few years ago. And C)It's also the title of a comic/story I am working on. And now that I think about it, CC just may be short for everybody's favorite taxi drivin' superhero Captain Cab. Revenger of the downtrodden and diligent annoyer of B.A. Baracus.
Aquas is known as the level in StarFox 64, which I did indeed play before I gave myself this handle many years ago. However, I did not create the handle with the StarFox 64 level in mind... in fact, I had a unique fondness of water at the time. I am thoroughly pleased with my handle. Thank you, thread.
P.S. I upgraded from "zaptoise" to Aquas... pokemon fans know what zaptoise means.

FIL, the 3 letter equivalent of my first name. It was originally just a placeholder until I could actually think of a good internets name to replace my previous string of really bad handles, but its been 5 years since I started using it and I still haven't thought of a replacement, so it sorta stuck.
I'm the apathetic and useless boss character from Bangaioh.
I got a real kick out of his first encounter (Lvl. 7) when he says to Riki and Mami: "So, I am here.", and his complete indifference to their attacks.
Kind of the way I felt when first posting on game forums.

So, I am here.
You caught me by surprise while I was talking! You just took a
shot!
It doesn't matter, it's OK.
But, Takeshi is... His body is his world.
If you send him away from home, he'll have many problems.
I mean, if it's possible... Wouldn't we do better to stick
together?
You're killing me again? And that's not gonna help you reach your
target!

Years ago, in high school, I was trying to come up with a name for a website that sounded intelligent and esoteric, and this is what I ended up with. It's completely asinine, but it stuck, and serves as a reminder of how clever I once thought that I was.
It's got "necro" in it. Dark! I'm so fuckin' deep!

I like to keep exotic pets such as snakes and lizards and herp is a grouping term for reptiles and amphibians. Therefore my name can translated to 'mechanical reptile' or something like that I suppose. The motor bit came into it because I was listening to Motorhead at the time I came up with it and it wasn't a far stretch of the imagination to replace to last two letters to something more fitting.
