Anyone Played Yakuza by Sega Yet?

Switching back and forth between Yakuza 2 and the Yakuza 3 demo, the combat system doesn't seem to have transitioned well. All the moves and mechanics are the same, but the targetting and dodging don't seem to work as well in Y3. It's easy to transition between enemies in Y2, but I find Kazuma flailing into thin air a lot more in Y3. Dealing with the sword-wielding enemy in the demo is also awkward.

Still not buying this right now though, apparently all the cuts were true.

Amazing. That many cuts? They thought that nobody would notice/care? Or did they plan to release them as DLC later? Whatever, they screwed up big time. Stupid fucks. I hope a head rolls somewhere for this.

Sigh.. I already ordered Yakuza 3 ages ago and should be receiving it soon.. then again, I would order it again, I want to play the game and there isn't anything that can be done about this. Except learn Japanese well enough.

I hope all this bad karma and bad publicity results in Yakuza 4 being released in original form. So I hope people will keep raising hell about this issue but still buy the game.

EIther that or... the number of cancelled pre-orders is that big that Sega just won't have enough reason nor patience to repeat this whole mess for every next RgG game, read: they give up on this series in the west.

The thing I find most ridiculous about this whole situation is, why in the world won't they just allow other publishers to pick this one up for localisation? I'm sure all parties would be more than pleased that way.
