Yes they've super limited their income. It was brilliant. A killer 5 hours.

I concur. Idiots.
(Yes, I would have given them my money for a super limited edition, too. Seems they didn't want it.)

Don't worry, every single one of them will be available on Ebay in a few months for a trivial convenience fee.

Play Asia has now added SaiDaiOuJou, but it's misspelled as SaiDaiOhJou :P

I assume that it's just the standard edition however :/

Well it has the same cover art as amiami had in super limited.

May is so far awayyyy~

Also i bet they could've just take preorders of the limited editions for a month or so and give everyone a chance to buy it, and still manage to release it in time as planned. AND YOU KNOW, MAKE IT MAKE MONEY. But i guess i'm too stupid to understand how marketing works by doing the exact opposite as the possible customers would think.

Whatever it is, that's gorgeous.

If this doesn't get a EU and US release now - I will actually start a thermonuclear war.

It's probably not much more than that the character avatars are placed below / above the game field. Just like calling that arrange mode a "16:9 widescreen mode"

I think this is the first time I've liked their HD graphics other than the Akai Katana release. Usually it's a mix of HD and scaled low res that looks terrible. Too bad none of you can buy it because they made 5 copies to ensure you can't get it. Enjoy the pictures though.

Too baroque for my tastes... doing something like "the pilot's view" or simply using the same "Apple" futuristic style would have looked good.

PD: won't every version have the arranged HD?

I don't think there ever was a 16:9 tate mode.. I was confused about that too way back when arrange mode was announced.

Of course. He's just upset at not getting a chance to pre-order the Super LE (as am I).

Each to their own... but I think that looks like an over designed mess. Wonder if you can turn all that off for the the arrange mode.

It really is sad. it's mainly sad that they can't adapt to new school practices... it's also partially sad that they actually have to to survive. By my count they still have a lot of old school arcade guys running the show. Can't teach an old dog new tricks. :(

I agree if you mean the junk around the play screen. The actual play screen part looks pretty good though?

Yeah, I think it looks terrible. It hurts my eyes to look at that. Hopefully the background can be switched off / made black.

I still wonder how the story-based Arrange mode would be handled in a western localization, if one did come out. Would we get to hear Hibachi in glorious English? I want to hear her tell us to go die in squeaky, adorable English.

What is the "A4 premium setting materials" that comes with the SLE? Some special images printed on standard letter size paper? Besides having the original soundtrack bundled, I'm not sure if its even worth it. A poster would be a much better bonus item if they're gonna go "super duper ultra limited edition" on us.

mmm... I'd prefer a proper arcade mode to be included - though I gave up hoping for that a long time ago.

I like the overall look of the game, mainly the stage and ship designs.

GOD NO! Let it not happen!

Just thinking about the shitty american voice actors that work on the videogame industry makes me shiver.

I don't get why people itt are acting like the box around the playfield is such a big deal. It's either a background that you can turn off or something added for the story-based arrange mode.

That arrange mode looks terrible btw. Looks like some sort of Xbox arcade hack-job.

Including shipping we're talking about £50 for the standard and over £90 for the limited... then running the VAT+delivery fees gauntlet as well. I thought Mushihimesama HD limited was expensive when I paid £70 for it last time. These prices are getting pretty stupid.

If there's a serious chance of it getting a localisation I think I'll just wait. Paying what is likely to end up being at least £65 for something that I'm not exactly gagging for seems a bit silly. The localisation will be about half that price.

Sorry to piss on the parade. At least it's nice to finally see some proper pre-orders appearing.
