"hardcore shmup gamers" sounds cringeworthy.

"considered the best version available for experienced players" would have been better, though still completely false of course.

"A fan favorite among many hardcore shoot'em up fans" maybe?

That would make the 1.5 version (ie. the one you're actually buying, here) seem less superflous, too.

What? :|

I think you misunderstand. I don't mean my enthusiasm for BL influenced RSG, I mean it may have rubbed off on Spadgy (journalist who helps out on shmup related stuff with RSG) who's also a good friend, who I've spent time chatting with about BL etc etc.

Evidently the quote is nothing to do with him, so RSG probably derived it from some info direct from Cave.

I hope that all makes sense, you're making me feel like some kind of cold war spy.

Why does everyone assume that I'm Australian?

Czech actually, it's just a shitty country for games with no gamestops, GAME and whatnot - just local retailers.
Anyways, Deathsmiles eventually showed up, so this should too...hopefully.

and it looks like no sign of it today after all. one less thing to distract me from coursework.
It's about "realizing their actuality." And judging by the look on Jane's face, she's realized it a couple of times already.

Indeed. Thankfully their days are numbered and they'll be a relic of the high street a couple of generations from now. No more plastic waste, no more paper books.

As a collector of all that tat I'd say it was a sad day, but as they don't release much of anything I care about anymore I'll be happy to see it bow out gracefully and bring the bedroom coder full circle.

About 1.51, is it a first print DLC like with the Japanese release or a paid DLC? And if it's paid, how many points?

1.51 was a DLC card. Actually I'm not even sure if regular DFK had a reprint, in that case, all versions should come with it.

Or you could just spend 400 yen extra and get the LE, lol.

If I had a J360, I'd be playing this a long time ago. I was wondering about the EU release.

torisu has said in a few pages on this thread that they want to time 1.51's release at around the same time as Black Label, which should be timed with the release of the game. They're going for the lowest price as possible on 1.51 (free, if MS will let them do it).

Even if you had Gamestop and GAME (terrible stores that I never use) I'd take a fair guess that you'd still save a lot of money importing the game from England.

I get you confused with Randorama who I believe is an Aussie, and also Treasurance for some reason.

Maybe its because the "i trolled u lol" style of posts and similar-lengthed name. :P

Black label is already on the market while 1.51 is not. I wonder why.

Edith: Okay 1.51 is on the market today for 80msp.

We had it confirmed yesterday that 1.51 will be 80 MSP.

80?! I've never heard of anything being 80 let alone a game mode. :S

Aye, they used to be 80, but now the prices vary quite a bit. Excellent work, torisu!

Any chance of the DLCs hitting the NA marketplace, ala 'futari Black Lavel?

The 80msp price is an excellent move by RSG. So Cave doesn't wasn't to waste time including their DLC on the disc? Fair, we'll just make it available for what is practically free, going as low as MS will allow!

Argh! It's just hit me that a press copy may be on my desk at work already, and I'm bloody well off at home this week!

EDIT: That post was all that was needed! The postman just turned up with my copy at my home address! Thanks RSG! And I've actually secured a spot to review it for UK national paper!
