maybe the game will bcome a little bit challenging if you play for survival and max out the difficulty setting.

You play for score. Scoring raises the difficulty.
One major thing I've noticed is that in the AM Show version, once you hit 1000, you automatically go into scoring mode. In the current version, you execute it by pressing A+B.

Easier. Well, I don't know. I didn't play for score my first time playing MMP and I got to the end of the 4th stage (just before the boss). I think I only triggered one extend as well. Helps if you know Yagawa's style. This you don't even need that. Just kill everything. I got to the 4-2 boss on like credit 2 (not sure if he's the end, but looks like it). I can't ignore points though, so do some dumb deaths.

Just my two cents here-

I played a credit today and thought it was alright. Very easy, although I did keep choosing Rank 1 when it prompted me.

The guy playing before me cleared it with relative ease, and some of the later boss patterns look nice, but even then I thought "I could dodge that".

The shooting left/right thing takes a bit of getting used to, but it's nothing too bad.

The bosses were a joke- again I was playing on Rank 1 so I'll go ahead and state that you should choose Rank 2 or 3 from the start if you want to get your moneys worth (which is what I'll be doing next time).

Sadly, the music was turned right down so all I could hear was this annoying slushing sound whenever your guy got the candy.

I'm sure if I knew what the hell I was doing re: scoring it would have been more fun. Next time, i'm starting on Rank 2 and seeing if I can't get more of a game out of my 100 yen.

Rank 3 definitely adds some spice, but the stages are still aren't that hard. The big differences are the bosses. Extra patterns, longer fights, etc. The dragon on level 3 has a few tricky parts.

If you do level 3 all the way, it's apparently much harder.

When the guy cleared it, was the 4-2 boss the end? There's another spot on the map so I assume if you do level 3 ranks only, perhaps you'll unlock a 5th stage. Who knows.

What is the best score at the moment ? Is the PCB present in several game centers (like HEY, it is in ?).
Otherwise, apparently (but needs confirmation) a guy in France bought the PCB.

Not sure. The display score seems to be today's score only (like Galuda II, unlike Futari and Pork) so you'd have to flip through the previous days' rankings to see.

Why didn't you just make that the same color as the background? I don't want to bother with decoding it. At least tell us what code you used.

To be honest, I got bored watching and wandered off to get my arse kicked by Ketsui again.

When I cam back he was finishing off one boss, and then another came on directly after a (fairly) long back and forth dialogue cut scene.

I'm going back after work tomorrow and sticking it on Rank 2 from the start, try to get a better feel for the game. The graphics were fairly horrible in a lot of places.

The short video is of stage A-2. The next video (where he scores) is C-2.

The only thing different from the AM Show and Loke Test versions are bullet patterns.

Gah, no sound. Although it does demonstrate a nifty little exploit to get your item count straight back up to 1000.
