Noticed that the pinball tables of Fish Tales & Black Rose are availble to d/l on the USA region PSN site for both PS3 & Vita platforms. At the local Funworks arcade hangout back in 1992, they had brought in a brand new Fish Tales pinball machine for all to check out. It was cool for it's time (especially with the interactive fish that'd flap around during a serious gaming session -- sadly missing on the virtual FT game though). I never knew that all the flippers on the FT machines were an 1/8th of an inch shorter than the traditional pins released by Williams/Bally back in the day.

Yep, the "Lightning Flippers". A few other Bally games had them back then as well, like Bram Stoker's Dracula and Doctor Who.

Just how bad Odama is? I've never seen it expensive, which makes me suspect it keeps coming back like a bad penny, but I feel tempted to give it a try...

P.S. Oh, fair enough.

Yeah, Odama always sounded like a decent idea, but the reviews kept me away.

Kirby's Pinball Land vs. Little Mermaid 2: Pinball Frenzy. The former is my all-time favorite, but the latter is currently taking over my precious moments of gaming time. In third place is the Star Trek Next Gen table on the PS4 collection. Love the sound for that one.

Has anyone played Wolf Team's Chou Touryuu Retsuden Dino Land on the Megadrive / Genesis? Any impressions?
