Speaking of useless gits, there's three "new" candidates running for the GOP Presidential nomination: Huckabee, Ben Carson, Carly "didn't make a whit of difference at HP, but still better than the rest of the crowd" Fiorina. NPR jibes: "That brings the total number of candidates running for the GOP nomination to 120...million. That's right, every Republican in America is running. They'll have the debate in Texas, and moderator Wolf Blitzer will shout across the border from Oklahoma." Texas, land of Jade Helm 15 conspiracy theories.

I'd attach as much importance to the fact that the slamming of the doors in Black Rod's face is just for show now, and when members actually hold shut the doors (to make the point explicit) it's a regrettable shame. Last time happened: 1980. And people yell "shame" at Dennis Skinner for his jokes during the ceremony, keeping the spirit of the thing. In the States, we'd never have Skinner and George Galloway arguing that a former President shouldn't have a state funeral. On the other hand, we wouldn't delegate so much power to the BBC to outlaw politicization of such an event.

In the States, we don't have a House of Lords or a royal house, but we have all the same types lording it over us all the same. We just assume that whoever won the dog-eating-dog contest is crowned kinglet for life. 2016 and we're back to the 1990s, Bush vs. Clinton for the White House in all likelihood.

I've been keeping tabs on TPA for a while - I suggest you have a read at the pinballarcadefans.com forum's 360 thread if you aren't already familiar with the episode that is Farsight vs MS for 360. Basically you've got the latest DLC but the main program hasn't been updated so it can't see shit.

On the bright side, MS said today's the day the title update itself will go live so once that's through you should be able to see your content. I'm looking forward to a less buggy Black Hole and more table choices.

You think Labour should remain where they are now? They need to provide a strong opposition in this Parliament and be a credible force in 2020. They've just taken a total spanking at the ballot box. You may not like it, but they have to change.

Oh, and my "hammer and sickle" jibe was aimed at the idea of a Labour/SNP coalition, the fear of which was a contributing factor to them just getting annihilated.

No, I don't think labour should stay where they are - they're not much better than the Tories really and seemed pretty desperate to try and please everyone towards the end of the campaign. This person has a bunch of cheated playthroughs (invulnerability, infinite hyper in DDPDFK) where they inexplicably label their games with the most bizarre genres ever. Espgaluda I and II as well as Deathsmiles are all "Asian Fighting 2", ESP.Ra.De is a "Jetman" game, DDP DFK and and Raiden Fighters are both "Airforce 3" games, and Mushi is "Maze Bugs". Inexplicably, Armed Police Batrider (a shmup) and 64th Street (a beat 'em up) are both listed with the genre "Cops".

No, seriously, in his cringe-worthy Espgaluda video (warning: sound is garbage) you can barely make out at the start of Stage 5.1 how he thinks it isn't a bullet hell genre but an "Asian Fighting 2" genre. He's still explaining what all the items do and the basic controls by the stage 3 boss (spoiler: he completely misses the stage 3 1UP).

What. The. Fuck? Is this some kind of troll channel? Am I missing a joke? Can someone be this genuinely misguided? I have a headache.

Edit: (On one of his videos he says he has a learning disability so I suspect I'm just raging at someone who has a legitimate excuse for this sort of thing. It's still super cringe-y to see.)

It really is frustrating how they seem to operate under a "however we can ship this stuff out fastest" philosophy, as opposed to "first come first served"...again, it was the exact same thing when Futari came out, and despite the fact that I pre-ordered the game months in advance it was a total crap shoot whether I (among others in a similar situation) got a first-print copy with the DLC voucher included (a roll of the dice which I, of course, lost).

I swore off them for several years after that, but decided to give them another try since I was sure other people had complained about similar circumstances in the meantime...alas, it seems whatever bad press they'd received wasn't enough to dissuade them. I really do wish more places carried the oddball stuff they get in, so I could take my business elsewhere for good...
