I finally found a frame for this beauty (it's just over 28 inches by just over 19...), I bought it a few months ago from GaijinPunch (thank you so much!!) and only now will it find a proper home on my wall.

Now go play this game already.

Still haven't made the upgrade to MVS, mainly due to the (sorta) pricey figures. Nothing super deep for the hardcore fighter community, but if offers a lot of fun with a handful of nice anime references. I've always enjoyed it a lot more than Sunsoft's other fighter outtings, Galaxy Fight and Astro Super Stars.
It's dozens of times better than their other fighters.

The Saturn port is shameful.

Good God, yes! That drives me crazy. It's something I still find hard to get used to.

Looks amazing, GunValk was the reason I bought a xbox, such an GEM :D

Jasoncslaughter, NICE Net City, congrats! Your lineup is outstanding, much love for the sega cabs. You need to finish it off with a Blast ;)

$26 shipped from ebay. Goooood condition. It's such a great design, I'm moving up from a mayflash which had a ridiculous joystick that kind of grew on me -- huge throw so it felt like shifting gears or something sometimes, I actually got kind of into the feel. Not that I had a choice  .

That's a crazy good price for a namco stick.

I was just at the drug store to pick up a few things, and happened to spot in the electronics section:

Went on an Amazon gift card killing spree. The shit was crazy.

Fantomas New Year's show is mind blowing. The "Twin Peaks:Fire Walk With Me" Theme is spot on awesome. It's cool to see how they pull this stuff off live. Seeing all the communication in the band is cool. Er...seeing Patton orchestrate everybody, I mean.

Dale Crover from the Melvins stands in for Slayer's Dave Lombardo - cool to see. Dale is a beast. Lombard has the 'latin passion', though....

The FNM Brixton show rocks, just days after they hit Billboard charts and were blowing up in the States - 19 fuckin' 90....I remember going up to Streetside to buy "The Real Thing" record! Epic. Literally.

For a big FNM\Mike Patton\Melvins fan this is a nice haul.

Fuck yeah. Also picked up some Jack Herer x Hashplant - perfect timing, Amazon......

We care a lot!

The 90s were awesome. I still have a vivid memory of the Epic video with the fish flopping around.

So I just recently got back from a 2-month-long vacation in Japan, and got myself a bunch of nice things in the process.

Some custom made 3D logo signs. Really love how these turned out. The NeoGeo logo is 24" in diameter! Lettering is raised.

Horror Story had been eluding me for years for some reason. Curious to play Auleria as it's developed by Winky Soft, who have made a lot of quality stuff.

Thanks, still a bit odd to buy something that has been in someone else's ears... The F111 looks to be getting very good reviews, more compact too, which will help anyone with smaller ears.

Look nice. Looks like the kind of thing someone who was motivated enough could manage to do themselves on a laser cutter, although at the rates the local Hackerspace charges for lasercutting I imagine those woiuld end up rather expensive.

Yeah, it's all about the tools. Regardless the guy did a fantastic job and the prices were very reasonable. I plan to have many more done. The next wave will probably be japanese Super Famicom, Megadrive and PC-Engine logos.

On a side note, got a chance to process the other packages I got in this week.

Fifteen bucks for a new/sealed PS3 BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend Limited Edition, new Xbox 360 Import Shmup Ginga Force, Custom of Legend of Almana, the classic Sansho the Bailiff on blu-ray, the latest issue of Shooting Gameside, Arcade Gamers (artsy pictorial of the japanese arcade gaming culture) and the new Megaman figure set.

Also in a modded SD card adapter compatible with the NeoGeo X console. Also came in with 2 mini-SD cards loaded with 50 games each.

Pretty nifty!

Hmmm that's weird! Forgot I had him do a famicom style cart custom.

Image

That sure looks familiar.

Also, once again thanks rancor for the service and cool bonus items.

I really dig the game. I've had a chinese pirate cart of the game since the 80s. Never been able to beat it though.

Nice to see it getting a bit of recognition these past few years.

Ooops, almost forgot about these. More recent pickups.

Yes that copy of Border Down is sealed... and for only 100 bucks shipped. Quite a deal imho. ;D

Lastly, a new statue that totally reminds me of Ninja Spirit. Hence the little guys on the sides, haha.

That's pretty crazy! Did you do the deal directly with him or some kind of middleman/shop? Wow.. NICE!

On a side note....

Just in today... The utterly gorgeous Macross 30th Anniversary Limited Edition PS3 game. So much artwork included. Even has a book that goes over 30 years of the Macross games that have been released!

I'm asuming you also got yours through Solaris Japan? He had dinner with G.rev's Maruyama and he was like "oh, we still have a stack of Border Downs at the office that you could sell off". :)
