sorry for spamming the thread

It's so weird hearing those oldschool tracks at normal speed, every mix I've heard them has them sped up a bit, haha [there's usually stuff from '93-95 spun in, so the speed increase is necessary]charlie chong wrote:the slightly slower 92 era stuff is also still sick

Pretty gritty; I like it. The sitar-y type synth sounds pretty wicked. The melodic line jumps around a lot, which I think in this case helps out with the song's tone.Weak Boson wrote:https://soundcloud.com/weakboson/aftertheend
Just a tune that I made. Please listen to it!
I made an FM soundtrack for a shmup that as far as I know has yet to be released (2 years now?). I should really post it soon, so people can appreciate it.Shatterhand wrote:I've only made music for some games I've made in the past. May I link the games? At least one of them has a sound test option, so you can just hear the music instead of playing the crap game
Thank you. This is new territory for me so practical advice is very much appreciatedEmperorIng wrote:Pretty gritty; I like it. The sitar-y type synth sounds pretty wicked. I would recommend trying to tone down on the overdrive on some of the instruments. Also try to pan the instruments a bit so they are not all falling down on the dead center, which can make it hard to understand what's going on in a piece.
woo, really diggin' that guitar-ish synth that shows up at the halfway point. I don't necessarily think things always need to be compared to more "known" artists, but this track has some of that Com Truise-type retro-future stuff goin' on.jonny5 wrote:New track up
Nice! You might actually inspire me to get off my ass and finish a couple of tunes.jonny5 wrote:New track up
