I have a preference for not playing any of these games, sadly. Luckily I'm a team player.

Guts:
Since no team France could be maintained, would it be ok to you to join Team Loser? Or maybe you'd prefer another team...?

I hope you guys on Team Loser are ok with this decission. :)

EDIT:
The teams USA Eascoast, USA Westcoast and Team Cowboy are still without a banner.

Someone could help out? :)

Anyone interested to make a "Shooting Game Tournament 2006" Logo?
I think that a logo might be a good idea, if anyone's up to get one. :D
I've been on it already. I'll pm by monday hopefully. I have not enough pshop skills to brag, so all may beat me if you can.
So Edge....and....rest of the world. Yay or nay?

Opinion: I think the symbolism wins over the single game use in this case.

I PM'd you the link if you wanna just throw it up on page one and I host it that way. However you wanna do it.

Time for a drink.

Ah yeah.....eastcoast sigs....that thing. Um..yeah...hold-that-thought...

I think that's pretty damned good!

Can someone please tell me how I put a logo in my signature, for some reason I can't get pictures to work. I am trying to use the [img] bbcode but it just puts the line of text in, not the picture

Cheers

Unfortunatelly team Germany has already 7 players on it... :?

Let's see how we could handle this.... .... ...

Ok, how about this solution:

We have now 8 possible players for Team Germany:

aventus
CIT
Edge
FrederikJurk
Herr Schatten
namagomi
PlasmaBlood
thyseus

Anyone on this list, who don't feel so confident (i.e. would appreciate switching to Team Loser) or is a fan of Old School gaming and therefore would like to join Team Old Schoolers ??

Actually Team Loser has also already 7 players, but maybe one of them would like to enter Team Old Schoolers... or another regional team.

Anyone on Team Loser or Team Germany would prefer to enter Team Old Schoolers?

EDIT:
Added the Shooting Game Tournament 2006 logo to the frontpage, thanks DJ Incompetent. :)

And pretty nice you covered the official mascot in the logo. :P

Ah mine is way cooler.

That one reminds me of those tacky overdone new age designs you see on t-shirts that nerds sometimes wear:

If that's okay for the members of both teams, I'd happily join the old schoolers.

The Japanese text in DJ's banner says Open-Weight STG Grand Prix 2006 Final Decision, so he might want to edit the English in there.

Damn, guy, I even worked in your Shooting Game Open-Weight Grand Prix 2006 Final Match japanese text Twiddle thinks is incorrect.

Opposition aside, yeah that picture was pretty funny. :) Good call.

It's not too late to run your idea:

Edge. This completes your circle, doesn't it? Given...you know....they don't hate it....again

Yes, if you use Quote to steal the code, I'll keep hosting the image throughout the shooting fighting thing.

Alright, talked to the team, traded some info, took some votes..

@Edge
Our team name is Drink & Fly
This will be our page 1 logo thing:

I'll pm you the link so thinking will be minimal.

For the rest of Eastcoast, here's what I cranked out.
Check your pm. 'Gave ya the same thing I did Edge.
Spot your beer brand "for a cookie"

---------------------------

More stuff @Edge

I got a hold of my team and pooled our collections together for the most part. I compared results to see what games we'd need to select so we really could submit 3 scores from our team each week.

Below is the selection of games we'd need to get selected to guarantee the highest chances our team can fully participate each week.

Basically, please put these games up for nomination for the remaining weeks:

Horizontal Week – Sexy Parodius (edit: dammit.)
Raizing Week – Battle Garegga
Retro Week – Galaga
Psikyo Week – Zero Gunner 2
Hidden Gem Week – Under Defeat and/or Thunder Force V
Cave Week – Mushihimesama

Thanks for sifting through the garbage and running this thing.

I think this one looks quite nice, kinda like a Malboro advertisement. ;)

Well I wait for a response of a member of Team Cowboy, which banner they prefer.

DJ Incompetent:
Please don't take the banner designs too serious. I know you have probably put a lot effort into your logos. And if someone didn't like your result, don't get upset and instead try to see why he didn't like it and think of a way to improve those banners. Or to improve yourself for future projects.

That's at least what I try to do when I get harsh criteria for something i did. :)
