Already had a little shelf of gals, but sold 90% earlier this year in the big moving sell-off. I don't begrudge anyone figures or artbooks, depending on your fancy, I just can't stand weeaboos who watch/waffle about/recommend shitty modern kill-it-with-fire anime, similar RPG's, and follow Touhou fanfic and 'trends' like Yaoi b/c it's so hip to be into homosexual manga.Going to need an intervention once you start getting scantily clad, pubescent girl statues.

I should get one of those watch boxes. Not necessarily for display, but to store them all in one place
I didn't read it as a shameless plug, but I figured that something custom made is not cheap. Currently, I've been buying 5-slot watch boxes from Royce. The boxes are okay and retail from 45 to 55 bucks a pop. The slots do not accomodate watches that are 45mm and above...Matskat wrote:xbl0x180 wrote:

I've been considering building watch boxes and maybe a few humidors to sell.
I wonder if anyone would be interested.
I make custom joysticks, and recently have had more people asking about jewelry boxes and the like...and humidors.
Would anyone have any interest? You can see some of my joystick work in my Google+ Photos...
Here is my personal stick, to give an idea of my style:
*EDIT*
Looking back at this post, it looks like a shameless plug! I assure you guys I'm just asking - probably should make an interest check thread to be more OT - but with all the watch talk being here.....
That's the very same type of PSX joystick I used to enter Working Designs' Raystorm $10,000 contest back in early 1998 and managed to place in the top 10 rankings overall. Won a brand new Working Designs Raystorm mouse pad as a consolation prize for all that hard work and still use it to this very day (it sold on WD's cool merchandise swag section of their website for a mere $9.99 USD back in the day). Not a shabby joystick if it's used to enter shmup contests, indeed. This particular Ascii joystick is as big as one of those 1st-gen PSX consoles in terms of sheer size & with the overall matching coloring scheme used.Stormwatch wrote:
$28 on eBay - and I bet some specialists will say it's not worth it, should have bought a [insert brand here], but when I looked into those high end ones, the international shipping alone was more than I paid for this sumbitch total. So whatever, it was a kickass deal.
I always adored how it looked like the PS1. Is it any good for fighters? I know it's not a "real" arcade-spec stick, but hey.PC Engine Fan X! wrote:That's the very same type of PSX joystick I used to enter Working Designs' Raystorm $10,000 contest back in early 1998 and managed to place in the top 10 rankings overall. It's alright for fighting games but truly shines for shmups. Auto-fire is adjustable via a sliding lever + it has slo-mo functionality from the get-go as well. It had an original MSRP of $69.99 USD at my local Toys-R-Us store back in late-1997.null1024 wrote:I always adored how it looked like the PS1. Is it any good for fighters? That IS a big ass watch. Make your wrist look small. Like a girl :pxbl0x180 wrote: I didn't read it as a shameless plug, but I figured that something custom made is not cheap. This one is around 47mm or more:
I have to use the box it came in to store it.

Such a stylish machine.
Not like you have a choice if you want to play region-locked JP shmups that weren't released elsewhere on it.shmuppyLove wrote:Finally![]()
Scored it for $150 on Futureshop Boxing Day deal.
Can't decide if I'm going to flash it or what
