I'm afraid I have to agree. Pixar is hitting its low point. Brave was decent, but isn't anywhere near the beauty of Wall-E and Up. Even Toy Story 3 doesn't quite measure (casual prejudice against LGBTs).

Ever since Cars 2, Pixar has been on a downward spiral.

The Toy Story series is overrated.

Pixar's peak for me is easily Ratatouille + WALL-E + Up.

Actually, that whole stretch of films they released from the past decade is incredibly solid with the only relative stinker being Cars right smack in the middle of it.

The next two films they're putting out sound promising especially "Inside Out". I'm cringing with the idea of making a film called "Finding Dory" though.

Didn't watch Cars 2 but heard it sucked. Liked Up a lot . Wall-E... over rated.

Yeah Toy Story 3 was great.

The first Cars was alright. Probably their weakest entry from an otherwise really great decade, but certainly not bad. It did start really slow though.

I thought TS3 was marvelous, but we're pretty much in sync. I honestly think that it's the production schedule that's causing a dip in quality from Pixar. Ever since they decided to basically double the number of movies they were going to put out, things have looked a bit more bleak. That's not to say that everything has been bad/worse, but overall, I think that quality is dissipating a bit.

I *despised* the first "Cars", and was basically forced to watch the second. Believe it or not, as horrendously terrible as the second one was, I didn't hate it as much as the original...and you have to *really* screw something up to make me abhor just about anything with Paul Newman in it.

I left the movie theater *pissed* after going to see the first "Cars". Genuinely pissed off.

Cripes! Ever since Robin Williams snuck in some jokes for the grownups in Alladin society has turned into a place where grown adults pontificate on the qualities of childrens movies.

Anyway, that pixar crap is garbage compared to the neverending story and all the other dark kids movies in theaters when I was growing up!

Toy Story 3 would be miles better without the cliche soundtrack clips and Spanish Buzz. Low blow, Pixar. They've set the bar for mediocre entertainment with such kitsch hits like Cars and The Incredibles. "What's popular with kids? Vehicles? Super heroes? Got it. Now pump out the merchandise."

Ah, gotcha. Actually, titles can be offset with quotes as well. It's usually easier for me that way, but italics are also correct.

Guys, Repo Man is my all-time favorite film. Bar none. Period.

Also, finished rewatching King of New York last night. Such a great film. And that cast? You couldn't pay to get that many brilliant actors in the same production these days.

<333 King of NY so much. It's like the Predator of gangster movies, so many great quotes and characters and a couple of great shooty bits. Had a blast rewatching it with some friends last summer.

"Yo man you ever get the feeling you was being watched?"

I think I feel the same way. I can't think of a film I like more all-around.

I think I'm en route to feeling that way! I want to watch it again already! Why did I leave 'discovering' it so long?

Street Thief is such a great movie. Very well made, it's difficult to tell if it's an actual documentary or not at times, pretty sure it's scripted. Very tense at times, and a great look at what it would be like being a skilled burglar. Great movie.

Craigslist Joe (Netflix)

Either some of this is staged for the movie, or Americans truly are generous and trusting. Not sure which.
More power to this guy, but man, I'm not sure if I could trek across the US totally dependent on the kindness of strangers on craigslist
