Cool, thanks. I just ordered it from there. I guess it was something anomalous with play-asia, as no one else seems to have had that problem.

It sucks that the LE cover is so much better than the regular edition.

The art deco LE coverart is so much better than a drawing of a pencil thin Reco with udders

The DLC isn't actually "pre-order" DLC, it's first press DLC. No doubt that I'll be available for quite some time after release day as well.

I think we care more about 1.5's availability than yours.

To be serious, no one knows what the availability of 1.5 will be after release. The DLC for Deathsmiles and Futari pretty much presold out. Better to be safe than sorry.

I wish this release was more a port for 1.5 and had the PS2 arranged mode as DLC. I hate DLC for something like this.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Do CAVE even need to do preorder DLC like this for their home ports? Don't most new Japanese games never fall far from RRP unlike everywhere else?

On the contrary. Prices of most new games in Japan tend to drop faster than they do in the US, from what I've observed at least. It may not seem that way to most people outside of Japan though, since online import shops rarely alter their prices to reflect current market value.

Won't you be able to see the udders when you pull the game out of the LE case, or is the actual game case the same as the LE cover?

Doubt it. I'm only buying it on release to get the DLC. If it wasn't for that I'd quite happily leave it 6 months because I'm not particularly interested in playing it at the moment.

Well, Futari's LE had the same cover as the outer box, so maybe the same would happen with this one.

Does anyone know if this will have a non-HD mode? I'm guessing not considering it's called Mushihimesama HD.

I'm not sure what you mean. If you mean a 4:3 mode, probably. I doubt they'd make it 16:9

No, he left of his own accord. He's probably still here on a duplicate account though.

He means something like Mushi Futari had, with an arcade mode and a 360 mode.

DFK was lacking it, so it makes me think it may not be included.

Yeah, Cave seems to have ceased including a "visually arcade-accurate" mode for their last few titles...not a HUGE loss in my opinion, but it was nice to have while it lasted.

I really didn't like the PS2 port of this game, and never played the arcade board. I know a lot of people love this game and I fully expect this port to be much improved, but it's hard for me to throw down $80+ on a game I never cared much for. I really should skip it, but I predict I will preorder nonetheless.

Considering the game comes out in a week and a half (and will probably start initial shipments in less than a week), I think it's a bit late to be thinking of preordering now...

I do miss the attract mode in AKS, I would hope CAVE put that back in with their new shmups.

Oh and while im on the subject of wishlists. CAVE pls make it so I can record my practice mode sessions. I have a habit of playing a shmup for a week then dropping it. Been able to watch my own practice replays would go a long way to quickly continuing where I left off.

Ive just spent a day practicing one of Larsa's bullet patterns because I'ld forgotten how I'ld done it before, it was like deja vu when I figured it out

If I do it, I'll do it in the next few days. Preorders will no doubt be accepted right up to the release date.

Looks like they kept the attract mode, so I *assume* initial saving is in.

NCSX already received 80% of their ordered shipment of the game and it looks like a fairly significant number of copies... it'll be interesting to see the overall sales data for the game after the week. I'm guessing Cave will be keeping a close eye on how well this performs to judge whether or not another console port is feasible.

Who should I address to ask for a PAL release of this game, Cave? maybe Rising Star Games?

How's the difficulty of this for clearing compared to futari original?
