People bid up this Ninja Warriors PCB to $625:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/180731380553

If that's the going rate, I will not be owning this.

I'm rich!! :P
The guy changed the price to an $89.95 buy it now, so i snagged it. he then sends me an email requesting an additional $12 for shipping and handling.
Please know that this particular item's shipping will be FREE if you purchase it from me. My gift from one shootemup fan to another.

Dude is a little confused....and no, i'm not sending him another $12. let's see how this turns out.

Edit: dude apologized and said he forget that he forget to edit that part of the auction out and is honoring the terms of the auction. what a pleasant surprise.

It's not some, it's this particular package. The items seperately I doubt could stand to reach £100 together let alone £500+. All the same, still an insane outcome.

well its proboably a one-off but isnt that what this thread is all about?

if you put an identical one up now i dont think it would fetch even half, its a nice package but an officially released nintendo product can never be concidered rare imo.
and yeah both games separatley in mint condition go for £40ish so its all about the double pack sticker :P

afaik no PAL SNES games are PAL-optimised (like alot of NES games) so stick a 60hz switch to the side of your SNES and youre golden ;)

also, cardboard :!: clearly plain is more valuable than painted/printed!!

FWIW, Super Mario Allstars had some graphic glitches when I tried playing the PAL version in 60hz and the PAL version of Secret of Mana won't start up in 60hz, you have to turn it on in 50hz and then switch to 60hz during gameplay.

Phalanx

Actually, all of the X68000 stuff on Ebay is ludicrous.

Wily Wars

This has been going up steadily the last few months, but goddamn. I wonder why it hasn't sold.

Notable as he wants cash on collection. Also it's worth maybe 20% of the BIN and that mostly because of the wheels.

Saw this Golden Axe: Revenge of Death Adder auction end and thought "wow, that's a lot".

http://www.ebay.com/itm/SEGA-Golden-Axe ... 4cfde0d312

Am I wrong in thinking that? I figured this game would go around the $200 mark average.

It usually does, or maybe just slightly over 200 last time I checked.

Yeah, X3 has been no joke for as long as I've been collecting. Years ago, I dropped like $560 to get all the PAL MM games complete, which is actually a reasonable price. If prices steadily increase, I may be convinced to drop the PAL section of my MM collection!

Yeah, that's really fucking cute of you to say.

Back in December I bought a couple no-brand compact flash cards for the same price as a brand name because I didn't realize the "Lexar" in the title was there to mislead me (that's fraud btw) and I'm still dealing with the seller's, and eBay's, shit trying to get my money back. The items are shipped back to CA where the fraudster lives but they won't pick up the items, and eBay's pretty useless about understanding that they need to actually enforce the return agreement the seller agreed to ("appeal refused" :| ) so I'll have to waste some time on the phone with them tomorrow. They'll probably give the seller enough time to dick around that the item will be returned before they "realize" they need to sign off for it at their local PO :|

Ebay's customer service is non-existant. Whenever you have a problem, you are on your own. Not surprising that Amazon is taking away their market share.

They did delete the auction I linked to, though.

this kind of attitude fuckin sickens me.
nobody deserves to be scammed because they showed some good faith
nobody deserves to get beat up because they didnt stay home
nobody deserves to have their car stolen because they parked at the wrong spot.. etc etc..

I reported that ebay scammer.
