The jukebox in Shenmue is modeled after the first model of jukebox produced by Sega. (Yu said so.)

An interesting thing about the name Grand Theft Auto is that Rockstar owns the right to use it for games, but Fox owns the right to use it for movies.

Where do rich countries borrow their money from? Since they are all in mega mega debt I could never understand it.
This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

China. When they foreclose, we will end up as the United Annex of China.
Debt has been the basis of wars before, hasn't it?
Anyway, we can always just print money, too. That stuff just grows on trees, don't you know?

PSX Vita: Slightly more popular than Color TV-Game system. Almost as successful as the Wii U.

I live near a town with a possibly cool name "Hurricane", but everyone screws it up and pronounces it "Hurr-i-cun" instead. What a waste.

China would be foreclosing on a swarm of giant missiles up its yangtze*, so that's unlikely to happen. Also destroying the value they were trying to protect in that investment in the first place. Ultimately self-defeating, I laugh every time this silly scenario gets raised.BryanM wrote:China. When they foreclose, we will end up as the United Annex of China.

Re: The Useless Facts Thread
There was a bug in Windows 95 and 98 - more precisely in the Vtdapi.vxd driver - that made the computer hang when it reached an uptime of 2^32 milliseconds; that is, it was literally impossible for a Windows machine to run past 49.7 days without crashing. This bug was only fixed in 1999, as hardly anyone noticed it: Windows usually crashed much sooner than that.

It's the normal colour of the material used. Google will tell you.neorichieb1971 wrote:Why are PCB's almost always green?

The printed in printed circuit board is because they are silk screen printed. The green is the ink.
I believe.

I've got one PCB that was printed up as a red colored variant. Interesting to see such PCBs printed mainly in the green color though.
A typical U.S. vending machine endowed with a dollar bill acceptor has 12 different methods to determine if the cash currency is real or fake. Sometimes, if said geniune U.S. bill is too wrinkled or scrunched up, it won't be accepted either.

There's a town near me called Noctorum. I love that name, as it sounds like an ethereal dreamworld. It has the phonetic ring of something I could imagine Christopher Lee booming, "Unleash the orcs of Noctorum!" And what do the people around here call it (imagine this being said in a scouse accent)? "The Nocky."evil_ash_xero wrote:I live near a town with a possibly cool name "Hurricane", but everyone screws it up and pronounces it "Hurr-i-cun" instead. What a waste.

Anne Rice's real name is Howard Allen O'Brien. No, she's not a transexual, her mom just thought it'd be a good idea.

The paint scheme on the world famous Golden Gate Bridge is painted "International Orange". Still standing to this day, even after the huge Loma Prieta quake that rocked it back in 1989.

There's a ZED BLADE original soundtrack coming to wherever near you in November!
Why am I posting this here? Too lazy to find the appropriate thread.

Iron Butterfly's hit song "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" is named so because composer Doug Ingle showed it to the other members of the band while he was completely drunk, so he couldn't pronounce "in the garden of eden" properly.
