what stupid score system does Darius Gaiden have? Because for me it seems the most fun game...

I don't know... milking bosses? Awkward rotating bonus items? Destroying lines of enemies (awesome!). Viper Phase 1 also seemed the most fun to you, so.

Darius Gaiden has an odd place in my collection as being one of the only games that I have multiple versions of (PC, Arc, Sat, PS1), and I don't even like the game that much.

Well reminded, I do have it for the Saturn and on the PS2 Taito Legends 2, though I believe that version is screwed...

I guess I have 5 versions of the game (though to be fair one is in a collection). I think it's time I have to admit I have a problem buying games that I don't necessarily like.

I'm actually glad you dragged me into this tournament. I wouldn't have joined if it weren't for the return of the "California Dudez". Up until that point, I was pretty close to selling my joystick along with some of my shmups until I received your offer. The enjoyment I get out of this tournament is that it forces me to focus on only one game for a week. Usually, I wouldn't focus on a game and would play it, expecting to get better, but I just didn't spend enough time to make that progress I was looking for. This tournament taught me that I can actually take a game more seriously and see myself progress while enjoying the process of getting better at it. I'm a lazy bastard with a bit of ADD, so in all respects, this taught me how to be more disciplined than anything else. But then again, playing for score only, does suck the fun out of a game, and that is when I just choose not to play that game anymore. Thank goodness I'm a part of a "laid-back" team.

About the bitching and whining, I don't seem to be overly bothered by it. I find the drama amusing, even though it can change my mood for a game for the worst. For the most part, they serve to reflect how I may feel for a game at any given moment and they're doing all the expressing for me.

And for the next game, BRING ON PROGEAR!!! I suck at this this game, and I want to suck less!

I think this table has something wrong. All my team top 3 were better placed than Oldschoolers better 2nd place, if I am not mistaken. The Coop still beat all of us, but then we manage to beat the rest of the oldschoolers.

I don't see why Edge is having problems with the rankings, since he already has the point values for the team rankings figured out, and the invididual rankings take barely any manual manipulation in excel for anyone who knows what they're doing. I made some method that should take about 3 minutes to implement once learned.
