No you don't need to participate in WCC7 on marp if you want to submit replays on armed police batrider special course! I'm stuck on grubby too.... heck he is even harder than black heart mk2... and outside that game i'm playing strikers 1999 like always, i get to 1-7 boss now

then only last boss and first loop is cleared, good luck on finishing second loop

You're on par for an A-score if you can get to the last stage. Keep going!
(For reference, I get between 8.5mil to 9.5mil before I fight Grubby, depending on how well I'm playing.)
I'll update scores in the afternoon, after I get some sleep.

Indeed. I drove my rank up like mad towards the end of that run. I should have suicided before Grubby but thought I would need the lives to get through him considering I don't exactly have him down yet.

Still working on it. One day I hope to have one of those elusive "A" scores. Perhaps even a B-score.

A-scores aren't elusive, just need the practice. A B-score requires perfect scoring throughout - no dropped Medals, all Medal sources gained, a bit of boss milking, and at least a clear (500k finish bonus).

Now a C-score...

8,040,620 - DMC - ALL - Strawman (C) / Flying Baron (C) / Miyamoto (C)

A one mil raise last week after lots of credits.

I tried most of the mahou characters, but none of them did impress me that much. Especially when it comes to scoring. I also changed to Strawman which is a pretty good character, perhaps the best for survival. But for scoring he's not optimal either, so for future gaming there may be even more exchanges.

Q: In the end of the sewer stage, there are six platforms that can be destroyed. Three on each side of the main part of the boss. How much points do they give, and is it any easy way destroy them?

Yea, I think it only has to do with some of the bosses in advance course. But I haven't played advance yet, so I'm not really sure about that.
Edit: From what I understand of the strategy thread, Black Heart Mk2 only?

But DEL, with that setup, isn't it hard to get good score from some of the bosses? I mean, Flying Baron is the only one with which you easily can aim specific parts of the bosses. For example I often get Strawman at the bosses at both sewer and airport stage. I kill the dragon at airport to fast and miss all the medals there. I guess it is a lot of missing points there.

That may well be true. I was perhaps misinformed that you had to take an A B C selection of ships to trigger all the extra Bosses on Normal Course

.

As for milking Normal Course to the max....its fiddly. My Normal Course results fluctuated all the time, it drove me nuts.

I look forward to your results on Advance and Special Courses.

I find Special Course with a Team to be fun.

Advance Course with a Team is masochistic, but I like that too.

i finally got my stage 6 all. was a bit sidetracked as a friend loaned me ketsui. my other clear was also against blunt. i've yet to topple either envy or sobut and my medal chain was a mess. all in due time i guess.
