Do NCSX or Play Asia take check or debit cards of any kind?

And yeah, I thought they were somewhat funky pics of the game itself too. So it's both a relief and a curse. :P

Not really, cell phone games are dull whether they have Cave's logo on them or not. Progear for the keitai was so bland as to get me to cancel my subscription to their game service entirely.

Debit card ~ credit card. I've not heard of a business that accepts credit cards but not debit.

It shouldn't take two weeks for something to go from HK to Hawaii, even if it's shipped via mainland. It takes that long for me to ship stuff to my sister in Croatia. Barely developed, perfectly across the world, and heavily checked/taxed for imports.

It should takes about 10 days to ship a game to the States from Hong Kong via Air *Meow*. If you choice EMS, it would be 5 days *Meow*. The only explanation is PA is not ship your games immeditately *Meow*. Check the postmark on the package you got form PA might verfied my speculation *Meow*.

I would rather get my stuff from PA than NXCS, since PA doesn't change cat any postage and the shipment for cat arrive overnight once shipped *Meow*.

By the way, the Japanese seems to got a better postal service *Meow*. Cheaper if not better *Meow*. Sending two CDs from Japan to me via EMS costs only 900 yen. While sending back two CDs to Japan via EMS cost me US$19.24 *Meow*.

*Ahem* While we're kind of on the subject of play-asia...(didn't know if this was new- threadworthy)...

Is anyone else here having problems getting onto their site? I've been seeing the same "temporarily unavailable" page everytime I try to visit for about 2 weeks. I'd like to see about getting my pre-order in...for Mushi...

Has SAM always done this meow nonsense or am I just noticing it? Either way it's the worst idea ever.

Where do you live? I want to know so I will know not to go there. People obviously don't get laid enough there and resort to meowing.

If the package is under 300g and sent within Asia, then it's 900 yen.

I live on a tiny nameless island in the South China Sea. :? If I needs to go other places, I would needs to go the nearby Lantau Island which got an airstrip. Lately they have built a small "amusement park" on that island too.

To let you have an idea of how remote the island is, if I wish to play a game of MushiHimeSama at an acrade centre, I would have to get across the sea and then take a trip on a train. :o The problem is a cat cannot swin. *Meow*

By the way, when a cat speaks, you would always hear "*Meow*".

I really don't think the problem lies in Hong Kong either. PA usually ships my pre-orders a couple of days before the release, and I'll have it about a week later. Took only one or two days for my Progear package from Cosmicco to arrive, with EMS of course.

I'm pretty sure cell games that look as nice as that would at least hold my attention for a little bit considering how poor they are here in the states.

I only used them once, but I heard that www.yesasia.com is very reliable and they have free shipping. I ordered my GBA Puyo Puyo Fever from there. It shipped out fast and arrived in great condition. I checked and they have Mushihime up for preorder!

I've bought from yesasia many times, mostly for music cds and movie dvds. I've never ordered games though. They also have different sites for different regions. I get my stuff from the North America one, http://us.yesasia.com

IIRC, anything over 40 bucks is free shipping.

The one item I wanted from Yesasia turned out to be sold out after I placed my order, so all they ended up sending me was my .50 cent pack of Japanese gum I added to the order to get free shipping. (They ended up paying $5.00 to mail me said pack of gum as well  ) They only charged me the .50 and were very nice about the item being out of stock (I would have cancelled the order, but they sent the gum before I said anything) so I'd consider using them again.

I love NCS. I've never had a problem with them, and I used them for many, many years. When I get back to the US from here, I'm going to use them again too.

I like all of the import shops I've dealt with (NCSX, Play-Asia, yesasia for movies). No problems at all, you really can't go wrong with any of them. Though, preorderers of the Special HRAP's will probably disagree...

edit: its under Mushihime Sama

and shit that is cheap. does Play-Asia let you cancel pre-orders?

apparently it does, when preordering from Yesasia, do they charge on Credit Card when item is shipped? i am not seeing it said specifically, and it is freaking me out.

Anyone have any idea of how the LE will be packaged? A bigger box? loose figure? How was SNS2 LE for the GC released? I'm on a big LE spurt right now because I only play the backups... :?

EDIT: further developements show that i freaked out over a temp charge, so now that the order has settled. my accounts (yesasia and the bank) have been settled, thus paving the way for many a cheap copy of Mushi. enjoy the bile below!

FUCK FUCK and three times FUCK!

i placed the pre-order for Mushi at yesasia, and apparently they charge your card immediately. so, my checking was empty, and because of overdraft my savings is too. on top of that because of insufficient funds, i got the $31 processing charge too.

even further, Mushi counts as a discount item because of the $5 difference, so the order can't be cancelled. i am a moron!

YAY, so much for $50. my copy of Mushi cost me $82. ^_~

Just tell your bank that the place said it wasn't going to charge your card immediately, if this is the first time you've overcharged they should refund you some/all the charges.

talked to the bank. their hands are tied. and due to some misadventures a couple years ago, this is not the first time.

Don't feel too bad, my bank once robbed my account for a couple hundred bucks over a discrepancy with a charge on my card. I fought it as long as I could, but it turned into a situation where I'd have to get a lawyer and I would have had to spend more to get the money than it was worth.

Ditto. I think I'll just go for them because I have dealt with them quite a few times before and have always gotten good service. And since they are in the U.S. I will get my game faster. I'll try Play Asia another time.

I encountered a similar situation two years ago. But in my case it was a cheque. It ended up costing me $77 more... :( *Meow*

By the way I just received a USB joy-sticks I ordered from Play-Asia two days ago (I ordered at night of 16 June and today is 18 June, it arrive within 48 hours!?!?). I checked the postmark it was shipped 17 June. The people of Play-Asia are really very nice to cats, they charge cat little or no shipping and their order for a cat arrive overnight. *Meow*

I have placed my order of LE version of MushiHimeSama at Play-Asia two weeks ago, since choice to pay via PayPal I have to send them money immediately. I don't know whether they would charge immediately if you choice the Credit Card option. In my case, I choose Play-Asia because
(1) I got a coupon,
(2) Free shipping for cat
(3) Order send to a cat arrive overnight
*Meow*

On the other hand, don't order from "Lik Sang", people there are really mean to a cat. I once received a defective item from them. I asked for an replacement, they had not cover my return postage of the defective good. And the replacement I received later are also defective!!!! I complain again and did not receive any response from them for weeks. *Meow*

So it seems Play-Asia is the definative choice for a cat. *Meow*
