That Chase HQ is not rare at all.
I have seen probably 3 of them in the Netherlands alone.
Mind you. Chase HQ was a VERY popular game.
It came out after Outrun. And Outrun was just driving. This was catchin badies with turbo´s and crashing their escpe vehicles to pulp.
not rare. I´ve seen this on Marktplaats.nl for 600 euro´s
http://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detai ... me_id=7318
If the seller said that only ten were sold in The Netherlands it would still be questionable.

Not shmup related, or high-priced, but...

IT'S A HEAVY MINIDISC! THEREFORE IT'S RARE! EVEN THOUGH IT WORKS THE SAME AS THOSE CHEAP NO-BRAND CHINESE MINIDISCS!

http://cgi.ebay.com/Rare-mini-Disc-Tdk- ... 2a0b8f8e6c

Now if we were talking about those pretty Japanese discs that have cool Warhol-style art... but no, those must have less mass than the one in the auction.
Don't hold grudges. GET EVEN.

So, I was playing Castlevania The New Generation (Bloodlines) and got a bit pissed about the fact that I have to push a button combination on my modded PAL MD everytime I start or reset the game. Then I thought about how the Japanese version would be nice to have - checked eBay and well, here it is:

'tis a joke right? Why?

The US version is probably the best anyway - the extra difficulty level really makes the quicker than normal pace (for oldschool CV) shine, and there's no censorship either. And it's pretty cheap even brand new, last I checked.

Yeah, I guess I'll swap my PAL version for Bloodlines - I sure as hell won't pay 200+ bucks for this game.

It's still fairly expensive on YAJ:

but.... agreed - almost $300 is a bit ridiculous.

Lemme know if you want the one above, and maybe we can work something out..

The game was pulled from the shelves and renamed to something else. So the original named product sells for gazillions.

The renamed product was made in huge numbers and sells for $2 in the flea market.
This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

One would assume that this one is a typo or something, especially since economy shipping is the default option.

Hehe, he obviously typed the price with YEN in mind. Seems that he fixed it already - it's now up for $49.99, quite the discount.

Im expecting the ebay stupidness to reach epic proportions when the 3DS goes on sale. Where everyman and his dog buying a 3ds will buy another expecting to sell it at a massive mark up.

I wonder how it pans out, I suppose it all depends on how many nintendo has in stock. Even if there was 1 3DS for everybody on the planet it wont stop some ppl buying extras to sell on ebay
