Ordered a Neo-Flex some time ago and it has just arrived!







Unfortunately the DC doesn't look as nice on the LCD as the games look in the Naomi emu.

I've been offered a Sony PGM 2950 for practically free, but it's just too big for my tiny apartment >_<

bought it for some simple recording with the delta44. However since I neglected to buy an amp + speakers for my pc, I'm using it as a headphone amp for my 2 soundcards, and the ps2 when it's hooked up to the CGA/EGA/YUV 2 VGA converter board.

ya im using it in my recording setup as well....

i would recommend the m-audio studiophile av-40's ( http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/S ... eAV40.html )....really good powered reference speakers for a great price(under$200)...they really bump for the size...shockingly heavy bass

and because im using a laptop with my setup i use an edirol ua-4fx ( http://www.rolandus.com/products/produc ... ductId=758 ) to interface my audio and midi stuff between my laptop, MPC and midi keyboard....and even live instruments(bass and guitar)

i then run all my audio channels(laptop/midi keyboard output and mpc output)through the mixer before i route the master out(all channels combined) into the ua-4fx and on to the speakers...gives me a bit better control on my levels and eases recording from multiple channels simultaneously

After recently getting in to shumps I remembered my monitor could tate, so I tested it out with some Raiden 3.
I hope it counts as a tate setup as its probably the closest I will ever come to one

Going to have to hook the Xbox 360 up to it sometime for some Ketsui and Dodonpachi action.

That I believe is a standard virtua stick for the sega saturn.. most likely modified.

It was a vector of the astro city cp (here). Took a picture of the Virtua Stick plate, then a bit of photoshop magic and printed at staples on some nice-ish paper

KB, this Neo-flex is an aftermarket monitor stand?

I see your rotation is clockwise. If it mounts on VESA, it should be possible to rotate the mount so you can pivot counter-clockwise. Although if it works like that for all your games, it won't matter.

It is an aftermarket stand. And yeah after taking the picture I realized that I could mount it for ccw pivot :p

Only really needed the ccw for makaron so far.

Pretty much my experience, too My 21" IBM flat CRT looks pretty nice, as I recall.

I've become far less picky about video now. I ran a XRGB2+ to a 17" LCD a while back which has now suicided, for better or for worse. If I really had to say it, yes it looked like ass, but passable ass for the space I saved getting rid of my dear Commodore 1702 (R.I.P.). I've now only a 24" LCD on a fixed stand, so I have not any rotate-able displays now. I'll look into that Ergotron stand since the price seems quite fair compared to some other aftermarket offerings.

It must have something to do with the XRBG-2 as my 24" Dell + XRBG-3 looks amazing!! PC Engine, Neo Geo, Super Famicom, Sega Saturn, Playstation 2, Xbox 360... it takes a while to tweak it and give you good results but once you know and understand the machine it becomes an indispensable gear for any retro gamer with LCD or HDTV displays.

Got bored tonight so I decided to build a vertical mount for the arcade monitor I had laying around. Wood, angle bracket, done. The monitor itself is a 24.5" Tri Mode from Niemen Displays. Bought it direct from the owner, Rick. Great guy.

Only problem now is how to keep the damn cats out of it.

21" television, gutted and innards replaced with a Jomac arcade monitor chassis. Hacked RGB/SCART cables from various consoles as input. Occasionally the 21" VGA monitor also goes tate for DC shooters.

It didn't quite match. Some extra mounting points had to be put in, and a small section dremel-cut out of the back so the various picture adjustments could be reached.

But considering the TV would otherwise have been a throw-away, I'm very pleased with the end result. A great new lease on life for an old CRT.

Makes my eyes water just thinking about it.
