They expect to start taking preorders for the LE on Monday or Tuesday of next week.
I hope they don't pull another stint by price gouging the LE to about $150 like they did with E2.

I think that they figured they could hike Galuda2's price because it had the Faceplate.

I've never seen NCS jack the price up on anything, in fact they bring a lot of shit here (online only shit in Japan) that they warn people about the price of before hand. They factor express shipping costs into certain large boxed/heavy items so they can get them into the US safely.

The limited edition of the game will ship with a DoDonPachi Special Arrange CD with compositions by Kenji Itou and Kouta Takahashi. Pricing is US$76.90 for the regular edition and we expect to price the limited edition at US$115.90. Please note that both versions of DoDonPachi Daifukkutsu are expected to be region-coded for Japan only. This means a Japanese Xbox 360 is required to play them.

Hahah, what a surprise. NCSX is shit, but they're probably the only American organization who don't overcharge their shipping.

Exactly how are they shit? It's cheaper than Play-Asia. They don't want to load up on an overpriced LE while the dollar is upside down with the Yen. Can you blame them?

You are the only person in my 12 years of ordering from NCS that I have ever seen say a bad word about them.

Mind explaining why they're "shit?"

They are usually a few dollars cheaper than playasia and offer USPS shipping which is 5 bucks and comes to my house in 2-3 days, vs. waiting 1-2 weeks for playasia for the same price (or paying more for EMS), and not knowing if something will get smashed in the trek overseas.

Play-Asia are even worse, since they're just exploiting the import market by charging out the ass for limited editions now. Neither will see my money again.

It's such a shame. Play-Asia used to be really reliable, a few years ago.

6 bucks over the retail price is "charging out the ass"?

NSCX , i've ordered from them several times coming the opposite way (US->JPN) and they've been fantastic. Great service, had one mix up and they were extremely helpful and i'd definitely not hesitate to recommend them.

Re: Price - Japanese price is , what? 6800 yen regular and 9280 LE?

Dollar is roughly at 84.11 -today- , so that puts the price at around $80 for the Regular and around $110 for the LE.

Given that these games aren't going to ship to Novemeber, i just wonder where the $ will be at that point in time? it sank as low as 83 recently, so NCSX have to factor it in (assuming they don't have to pay for and pay right now for their batch)

For me - price looks great. Not sure what people expect the price to be? What would be reasonable? hell, if we take the price of the Regular at today's exchange rate it's actually CHEAPER than retail price... :/

Alas, NCSX can't control the worlds fx markets

I wouldn't hesitate to purchase anything at NCSX ever. Even Play-Asia as well seeing how I haven't had any problems in the past with either.

I only chose NCSX due to their great shipping prices and that I never get dinged with customs or taxes. Not to mention their orders come in really quick always when they ship.

If people have a problem with any online stores best thing for them to do is take their business else where.

I ordered Bayonetta from NCSX late last year after Play-Asia's stuff started taking forever to arrive (or not arriving at all). They didn't include the preorder bonus, which bothers me as they don't say that it doesn't come with it (no sir, that's bad for business (despite Amazon.co.jp doing so)), it's like it doesn't even exist.

Although I did end up getting this bonus as Play-Asia's copy finally showed up a month later. Someone I know locally also bought No More Heroes from them, released earlier this year, and was meant to come with a preorder bonus which they also didn't receive.

Of course it goes without saying that it's better to pay in USD right now, since the Yen is so strong.

I can't be bothered mucking around with this, I'd rather just order directly from Japan or not at all. These people either want my money, or not.

Exactly. Will do.

Edit: Oh haha, it's no wonder they didn't include the preorder bonus, they're selling it separately for $22.

After being temporarily sold out, the DDPDFK LE is available again at amiami for 7650yen!
They typically charge ~1500yen on shipping for EMS (to USA at least in my experience with them) for those who are curious since they don't have a shipping calc.

preordered DDP-DFK from NSCX, they've done well for me in the past. I think I got the LE with the used panties in it. Not really sure what it comes with but it did cost a bit extra.

while i was preordering DKF, I finally picked up DeathSmiles US which will get some play time before November.

Their explanation seems pretty clear to me.

NCS was able to purchase surplus inventory from vendors in Japan which we are offering for general sale.

A Japanese vendor who visits our website to check up on what's happening has offered us a batch of the Bayonetta Rodin's Selection bonus soundtrack that was given away with preorders last year. We've purchased their entire stake and we're putting them up for sale on our shops.

Yeah, the preorder bonus that, you know, they neglected to include in their initial selling of the game, which was free, and is now available months later for the low low price of $22. I didn't even study marketing and I see through this.

Oh well, have fun paying 85 bucks for stripped imports.

Apparently you do study marketing if you are giving this much thought over saving some chump change. You can jump to conclusions about whether they seperated the Bayonetta preorder soundtrack disks, but you will never know for sure if what they said is true or not, I wouldn't loose any more sleep over it - and I certainly don't think it is reason to smear campaign their business. As the only resourse in the US for us freaks to avoid international shipping they deserve our money.

All I really care about is shipping time, and I receive orders next day with ncsx's cheapest method.

The one thing that really does piss me off though about Ncsx is that I am too braindead to figure out which login to use, it seems like they really need to consolidate their site and make it a bit more intuitive for crackheads like myself.

Agreed. This annoys the heck out of me. I had to send an email to reset my password and they explained I needed to use the other NCSX site for preorders. Genius!

I guess you're welcome to your conspiracy theories or whatever.

I dunno, I suppose that I tend to trust a vendor that's bent over backward for me (at a price, sure) and never done me wrong.. vs. the all-knowing Elixir.

I have to say, every time I've preordered a limited edition of a game at NCS, I've gotten every little bit of the package, nothing missing. They really go above and beyond with the communications, making sure I know I'm getting exactly what I want. Out of all the options available to me for this stuff, NCS is unquestionably my top choice.

And, it helps that UPS has an ultra-fast delivery route between their warehouse and my home so that I always get my package the next day on the cheapest shipping option.

If NCS doesn't ever have enough "bonus" items for everyone they usually make it totally clear in a daily update or the preorder description. They have no control if a distributor decides to gouge the freebies and make you buy 3 copies of the game to get one DLC or whatever.

They said before that Cave announced to distributors when deathsmiles had DLC on the disc, and this time they didn't. So it's probably a region locked first release with platinum hits art. Someone else pointed out that they'd have to re-pay MSFT to make it region free again too.
