Yes.... but for the life of me can't remember who it was from. It was an email, and I'm pretty sure the price was in yen (180,000?) which narrows it down to Sophia (exporter for Tops). Be warned though: the combination is basically G-Front (shit prices) that ships abroad and deosn't have the worst service on the fucking planet.

EDIT: I just foudn the mail. Hmmm.... it's 228,000 yen (from Tops/Sophia). Sorry... I must have just smoked a whole banana peel while reading.

Seriously, I realize you're knew to the forums and obviously loaded with cash willing to buy, but Death Smiles 2 is not a good investment. The game isn't praised here. Most people aren't impressed with what they have played in arcades or seen. A fair number of things are getting ported now, being Ketsui and Futari. I wouldn't recommend any arcade board at this present time because just like Arcana Heart 2 or BlazBlue, the price will drop to about one fourth to half of the current price if a port is released, and a couple hundred just by an announcement of one.

Noticed that my local machine says "Update 2 Version 3.00" or something like that. No new characters or anything, I want to say that some of the scoring and bonus has been fixed, but I hadn't played the game in awhile so I don't really remember. Oh well, I'll assume something changed.

It's a new hardware not related to Type X or SH3 at all. PC based, and runs embedded Windows XP. It's also a piece of shit.

Cave is one of the few developers where I can say that I really don't care if the hardware they're using is horribly underpowered or outdated, as long as it can push out enough bullet sprites.

After reading pages 8-14, I've come to some conclusions:

1. Not fucking spending more than 100 yen on this game, just to say I played it, ten years from now when the only arcade around is HEY and most of you guys are in wheelchairs.

2. CAVE fucked up.

3. CAVE fucked up again.

4. I have no fuckin' idea why I don't read gamengai instead of shmups.

5. I should be on gamengai this moment.

6. I still have 20+ calc problems to do, and it's 1AM GMT-6.

7. CAVE fucked up.

8. I'm extending this list because

9. Cuilan is cool and totally nonchalant and should spend more time in #shmups
