Just ordered the LE. I haven't bought a DC game in absolutely years. Hopefully hucast.net will deliver a title with a decent learning curve.
Just to note, I prefer a game I can enjoy to watch as well as play, but I like a game that is also beatable by anyone who gives it enough time. I am not a cyborg player and I don't have months of time to dedicate to it.
So hucast.net, please make a mode in the game that allows any player to see the whole game to the end. Call it "introductory level" or something.
Because imo, there is some gratification to seeing the whole game, and it also encourages you to try harder levels.
And if your up for ideas. I think a super weapon that is unlocked by completing it would be great.. Even if its just the same graphics as another weapon but with more HP.
Instead of having easy/normal/hard in the conventional sense. Make easy 4 levels, normal 5 levels, hard 6 levels.. With the end of game boss being a level of its own that bolts onto the end of whatever mode your playing with a relative HP to the mode.
Thats it, I hope my purchase helps you along, but I also hope my ideas are taken on board with this game, or a future title you may be considering. Thanks.

This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.
Yes, the game features a balanced difficulty curve. So depending on the players skill level it begins at easy/normal and then it's getting more difficult from stage to stage. And for experienced players the next loops are going to be pretty hard from beginning.neorichieb1971 wrote:Hopefully hucast.net will deliver a title with a decent learning curve.
If you mean, you want to pay by something else then PayPal, then yes this is possible.lilmanjs wrote:is there a way to change the payment method for getting the game?

Damn, not checking internet a few days and now this...
Having ordered both the game itself (through Hucast) and the OST through Play-Asia (both prepaid) I feel kinda misleaded with this sudden LE announcement (there wasn't going to be one, it was said.).
That said I will order one to complete my collection. The LE will stay sealed and I can still enjoy the game and the OST.
Still: better communication would be appreciated next time!

Ok for people here maybe but what about everyone else who does not frequent these forums?
They should mail everyone who has preordered to let them know about the LE and offer all the chance to upgrade imo.
And my question was never answered btw, can I cancel my order?
The decision to make a LE came as sudden as everyone heard about it, and there's no reason to moan about this. It's odd how some people feel offended about the sudden LE announced, because everbody can upgrade or don't care.Super Laydock wrote:Still: better communication would be appreciated next time!
That's already done - there's a newsletter for such stuff.Wonderbanana wrote:They should mail everyone who has preordered to let them know about the LE and offer all the chance to upgrade imo.
Of course you can....can I cancel my order?
Let's clarify this via mail.lilmanjs wrote:how do we go about cancelling an order or changing the payment type of an order we already have made.
What's your size?undamned wrote:When can I order my T-Shirt?
I'm going to do such a shirt if the interest is there, I mean everyone who wants a shirt let me know. It's going to look slighty different than your suggestion though.

I want one, will it have the word "UNDERSTAND" on it ?RHE wrote:What's your size?

That's for sure.rtw wrote:...will it have the word "UNDERSTAND" on it ?

If it's normal euro sizes I'm a medium!

Re: DUX for Dreamcast
So it's basically R-Type with the ship from Samidare?

If DoDonPachi is Raiden with more bullets then yes. Other than that I can tell you that DUX is more then just being R-Type as it's has a more advanced scoring system and more bullets on screen then any other game of this subgenre I know.Zweihander wrote:So it's basically R-Type with the ship from Samidare?
in case you guys don't know, I sent an email asking about the soundtrack and the LE edition with the soundtrack has a soundtrack that is different than the one you can get seperate from the game. I think the LE edition soundtrack is just the game music and the seperate soundtrack has remixes and arranged songs.
I have also emailed themNope. They are exactly the same.

"Unlike the LE OST, the seperate OST features remixes in addition to all the original tunes! "

What the hell, I was actually referring to a comment RHE made earlier:

My only interpretation was, that it actually had the same content. Oh well.RHE wrote:The thing is, the development of DUX takes way longer then expected so there has to be an compensation for that. And this time I don't think anyone has to be dissapointed with the LE, as the OST included is also sold seperatly. It's mainly a collectors item for people who want to have there NTSC-J collection look pretty and it also assures further HUCAST.net games. All in all, it warrants that all people can playing this kind of games on their DC.

It's already 43€ without the remix CD so no, thanks.henry dark wrote:you can!Blinx123 wrote:Oh come on. That's unfair.
LE buyers pay a nice premium. Why can't we get the additional remix tracks?
for just a bit more money...
Hopefully the DUX LE will at least be as limited as the one of Last Hope. At least this LE was really worth the 55€ I paid.
