Twinbee Y. is a fine game (I'll use this post to officially recant my harsher criticisms), but, no, I would never play that game again.

Like I said, drudging up the mettle to touch it again is incredibly difficult. I hope Seibu week isn't the same and ruins a good Raiden game for me (or makes me play a shitty one).

I think this may be the most excited anyone has been to play Giga Wing Generations since 2005. Don't forget to bump the score thread. Watch out for the dust.

Maybe, but I *am* easily amused, lol.

Also, I rarely play a shmup that I DONT like. I think Twinbee Yahoo was the only one in a LONG time to tick me off to that extent.... and, after more extensive play, it's not a BAD game, but still a bit annoying.

I still havent gotten to try Generations yet, though. Oh, it came in the mail.... but my broken-down excuse for a PS2, being demonic as it is, decided to not run the disc at all. So I kinda smashed the heck outta the thing..... (it needed replacing anyway, doing that tomorrow). Also I need a new loader disc before I can run that; the one I had is barely working, mainly since my cats had a fight on it (sigh).

So for now, normal Giga Wing it is!!!

And more of the Strikers games.

raiden fighters 2 tate'ed and in RGB bee-yotch.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Agreed!

I hate that damn thing!

I generally go down sometime after the music changes to that "you die now" theme.

That dang attack that has the vertical lines, which then spit out tiny little bullets horizontally is what often gets me.

I love that game, but that boss is SO dang annoying....

And as for me, still lotsa Progear, Gigawing, and Strikers.

I'd LIKE to be also still playing Death Label, but noooooo, the PS2 I'd been using before (which could play imports) died. Specifically cause I obliterated it. And I keep forgetting to order a new loader disc and lid..... (need a new one anyway, the current disc has about had it). Current PS2 isnt modded yet, so..... mostly been MAME lately.

That last boss ruins the game for me. Never before have I seen such a huge, sudden difficulty jump.

I've been showing the Thunder Force series much love lately. Iam currently trying to beat TFIV [on MD]. The game is pretty damn difficult to say the least.
