Masamune Roughing up ST4 Tonight. (I like this shot)

I tried a bomb run and cleared the first loop, then tried two creds of no-bomb. Despite no bombing to ST5 with 4 lives remaining up top, I made one mistake and the lives disappeared within seconds  .

The film needs edited which will take a while.
When it's done I'll put it somewhere.
Unfortunately it may never be complete because Icarus is hiding the footage of Mills' 1945 loopage at the trocadero.

Excellent.
I've been working hard on this documentary, I've edited like six minutes of it.
Thanks for the footage, Icarus. Also, you have a WAY steadier hand than me... from all the shmuping?
I'm sad I didn't get to interview mills and ask him about smashing a truxton arcade machine in to tiny fragments (?)

How did you know about that one Doc :?:
An 11 hour plus credit of Truxton ended in a smashed screen in an all-night snooker & pool hall - Yes.

Ehehe, at the hotel there was a great "brainstorming" session between some big brains: me, Plasmo, Doc., BR1...
We were planning to reproduce that scene with professional actors (ehm)...

Well ARC and ARM witnessed it, so you'll have to ask them for the film rights.

:o Oh i just had a "TRUXTON TANTRUM" with joystick. was in the zone (perfect run) on the 6th-7th loop with my 1st life max firepower, and the joystick was malfunctioning. the moment id lost that 1st life, id hammer punched the screen in anger and shattered the glass. just one of those moments i guess.

No need for that, we eventually realised a fiction in which the protagonist is called Delmills
Ok, no more spoilers from now on!

To be honest I don't think I'll put the Delmills thing in... it's not very realistic. In that version the arcade owner turned off the machine and that's why you smashed up the machine. ALSO, you didn't kill the arcade owner with a knife, burn down the arcade and escape in a tank either.

Mills: Do you want to do some sort of skype interview if you can? The story of you vs. Truxton should reach the people.
Trust me, I'm a doctor.

There were two Truxton incidents back then.

There was the TRUXTON TANTRUM where Mills played for approx 11 hours straight on 1 credit (even 1 life  ), then put his fist through the screen upon death.

The other one was when, as you mention, the Chinatown Arcade manager switched a run of Truxton off on me 5 hours into the run with max lives remaining. I returned later that day with a crew of 10 guys and the manager locked himself into the cashbox, fearing for his life  .

^Funny that you should mention this :!: -->Not long after, a Chinese Floor Walker at the same Chinatown Arcade was dismissed and he returned one night, tied up a couple of the remaining employees, poured petrol over them and burned them to death. He was caught and the story made the London Evening News.
^I've tried to find the news report to paste it here , but no luck :? .

Holy crap! Truxton is cursed, and also that chinatown arcade sounds a little stodgy.

And I dont want ma face in it!

Btw Icarus, have you given souky a go since the meet? I had a couple goes with scallop and got a nice score but died early, I think I might scrap the bomb hoarding, unless ofcourse you can enlighten me on that quick bombs technique(other than leaving powerups) you were talking about.... :) Scallops great until you get to stage 6, when you need to become quick and accurate.
