I work in a hospital and I looked into this, basically as you get further and further into a run your body floods with more and more adrenaline, which is why your hands shake when you're going for a 1cc on a new game and you get near it.
When you get a 1cc that you wanted for ages your brain rushes you with endorphins which hits the adrenaline and causes a chemical imbalance that makes you euphoric.
That's the very basics anyway.
When you get angry the areas of your brain that cause/moderate emotion light up like a christmas tree. Interestingly in people who are sociopathic this almost never happens, that of course being because if you're sociopathic feeling emotion is more difficult. So it's possible from a neurological perspective that SOF-WTN, Yusemi-SWY and Dame K.K. Sinmoon etc. are all borderline sociopathic. Or they all have OCD.
