Current upcoming episode: #51: Commando
Scheduled for Sunday, March 2nd, 4p.m CST.
Guest: ????

I will be doing live play on the Arcade version.

Live in about an hour and 40 minutes from this posting. Wasn't sure if I was gonna do something this weekend because Frenetic and Softdrink were considering streaming yesterday from SoCalRegionals. But alas... Commando.

I liked this episode, more of a casual "Let's Play..." type of show. Got a little history lesson, cracked some jokes, it was pretty cool! Yeah, wish we got that SCR stream working; someone else was trying to record a Vampire Saviors tourney but couldn't get the stream working either, so we weren't alone. It would at least have made for interesting viewing while drinking watching inexperienced players play, along with the guy working God mode for a bit.

Yeah, it was a pretty fun video.

Also, any chance you might do another "Awesome Game Replays". Maybe for Metal Slug 3 or Contra or a beat em up or something like that?

I quite enjoyed the recent untypical episodes, been a nice change up.

I request a Castle Shikigami 2 episode. The translation/voice acting is legendary.

I second this ^

MS3, Contra or a beat em up would be a nice change. Or maybe a Ghosts and goblins episode. I know the last awesome replay was a ghouls episode, but you can never have too much gng. That game is hard as nails, and a pleasure to see 1cc'ed

More live plays, it's goddamn amazingballs

And an episode with 19XX. I still can't fathom why it was side by side with Progear in that Capcom pole.

Who voted 19XX in that poll? \o_
So I second a episode with it, as well.

Man, your reactions were priceless, just hearing how thrilled you can get really reminds me why I play this genre  Definitely do another liveplay at some point.
As for future episodes, it'd be cool to see a Psyvariar episode one day.

Yes! The main hang-up with this is that we haven't exactly put out a call for people who play Non-STG well. But, I'm open to having anyone able to comment, has footage, and thinks they're decent at their game for an AGR episode. Please PM me if you know someone or yourself if you're interested.

A Ghosts 'n Goblins Arcade episode is coming within the month, hopefully, with Mike and PJ returning.

Thanks for the suggestions as usual, I would like to cover Psyviarar and Castle Shikigami indeed. Glad you guys like the live plays, as it stands, Cave stuff gets the most views still (duh). I guess I have to live play Cave stuff.

This!!! Awesome episode! Watching you play that game is intense, haha. Good stuff!

As for future episodes, I'd really like to hear DEL commentate on his Muchi Muchi Pork, Manpuku run at some point!

My performance was a little disappointing, but my show performance was just fine! Gotta keep it entertaining. If I had shut up I might've beaten all 8 stages :D

Don't worry we can all kind of tell :) frankly I'm amazed you can play so well whilst talking. I can't talk let alone say a word whilst playing. Especially in twitch based games like commando.

Due to Daylight Savings, the schedule for today's Great Fairy Wars episode is changing for our stateside viewers etc to 11AM CST instead of Noon. This is because Daylight Savings does not occur through-out the world at the same date (specifically Sweden in this case). Fun stuff!

Current upcoming episode: #53: Gun.Smoke
Scheduled for Sunday, March 16th @ 2 p.m CST
Guest: BIL, chumlum?

I have a request, none of our parties have PCs capable of recording / encoding BIL's gunsmoke .inp.
Anyone want to give it a shot for us?

https://www.mediafire.com/?z62v2vaj43kd2wl

Gun.Smoke input recorded with WolfMAME Plus v099, using Japan ROM "gunsmokj.zip" (requires parent ROM "gunsmoke.zip"). Final score 900k plus, all stages cleared.

WolfMAME Plus v099 downloadable from:

Third-ed. That would be brilliant.

Im really hyped for this Gun.Smoke ep, I really struggle with the first boss. The bullet colour and speed do my head in. Can't wait.

Might also say what a godsend STG Weekly has been for me. Its introduced me to some great games and the commentating has been top notch. Thanks chaps.
