Aww yeah - sweet neurosis.

Now, some of you oldschool cats may remember a great little MD game by the title I Love Mickey Mouse: Fushigi no Oshiro Daibouken. Well, I love Mickey Mouse too, but not quite as much as I love...Neo Geo.com Forum Drama: BOOTLEG AF3 NO DENSETSU

VICTOLY!

I spent forty minutes with the technician in the arcade getting DFK 1.5 sorted out. I watched with some pain as a new hole for the fourth button was cut into that ancient Astro City panel (good job, I've just never witnessed it firsthand before) and then helped him tackle everything else with my trusty flashlight app and PCB knowhow. I got the PCB out and entered test mode and the guy was like "weird, this white guy knows all this shit", then navigated the options (they're in English) and we discovered the jamma loom had the 4th button wire ripped in half on the 1P side. So he went and got some wire and multimeter, taped a new one on, relocated a spade connector and rearranged the layout and... wallah!

I can now play 1.5 in Power style instead of bomb, with a proper layout. Very happy about this. Also mentioned to the manager I was interested in buying the PCB. Looks promising, going to go in with a smooth offer of £150. 8)

My god... there are no Sony threads on the first page of Off Topic! You have no idea how long it's been since this last happened. Think Solar Eclipse.

I had to grab the screen just to prove it actually occurred, since I'm expecting the Vita thread to rise sometime soon with more exciting information.

Read the story of a corrections officer that was conducting an inspection, got jumped by an inmate who bit on her ear. Several other inmates rushed to help the officer and restrain the assailant. The officer is doing well, and surely grateful to the men who helped her.

Made me smile because a bit of faith in humanity has been restored.

Getting a supah sexy girl in a miniskirt so short it was basically 2 millimeters to public exposure to play DFK with me today. She's got a smoking tattoo on one leg and was wearing a pair of four inch wedges. And she played that shit standing up.

I just had to take a step back and admire the motherfucking view: bullet hell, legs and ass.

Not a story I'll be relaying to my other half, but it certainly made my day.

I'm going to use my karma as a shield and soak up that incredible insult so that that poor girl doesn't have her day affected across the spiritual ether. Or something.

She's a cute young girl. ALL GIRL.
