Just for laughs: This is what Sim 30 looks like for me (and Croikle, I guess). Somewhere in this picture a player ship is hidden. Can you find it?



My guess is that the layer with all the small planes on it was originally supposed to be between the ground and the bigger background planes to create a greater illusion of depth, but the guys at Seibu found it too confusing, so they either disabled it or hid it behind the ground layer. Unfortunately, the MAME build were using does all kinds of funny stuff with the layer priorities, it becomes visible again, and on top of everything else at that.
Also: Good job on making the bullets the same colour as the engine fire of the background planes.

Thought you would of, as it's your style of game - action-packed, with complex scoring techniques. I've been playing it all weekend, for fun.
Better off getting a 360 and RFA instead of the PCB, though, as you'll get RF1 and RF2 as well. ^_-
