So close to adding Deathsmiles to the list. Restarted the path to Jitterbug so many times to make sure I wouldn't die, and did not discover until finally taking him down that he was not the last boss

Aww really? =( I was curious about this, but I guess it makes sense. It at least got me good at the last level

So, in scoreboard mode (or whatever its called) are restarts not allowed? Or does it just not count the score? (I dont have LIVE or I'd just go look)

Practice the last level using restarts as much as you want, but don't try to pass off a restarted run as a valid 1cc. It's like using savestates and claiming that you beat the game fairly.
I don't think score attack allows restarts, and if it does the score isn't counted.

Makes perfect sense. I don't know why I thought it would count in the first place, must have been late at night.

OT, thought that I had 1cc'd Mobile Light Force, and then discovered level 6. Oh well, I am happy with the progression for now, seeing as I don't like the game that much in the first place.

My first 1CC in anything!

Raiden Trad for the SNES, default settings. I had a few close calls, but I even pulled out a No Miss! You better believe I bombed the heck out of some bosses, though =).

It feels good to finally beat one of my childhood favorites. Next I'll try to beat the game more consistently using fewer bombs (for better score). That or try the difficulty on Pro.

That's a very solid list, actually. How about adding Batsugun, Mahou Daisakusen, Darius Gaiden, DoDonPachi, Darius Gaiden, probably RayForce? I believe you shouldn't have any problems with those.

I'll have to check a few of those out.

DDP just doesn't get along well with me. Stage 5 boss is pretty much a good run for me at the moment.

Plus, if I were going to try to 1cc one of the games in this series right now, it'd be DOJ BL considering from the ones I can play, it's the one I like the most. I've gotten to stage 4 a few times on this one, and it does seem more doable for me mainly because I get walled a lot more in DDP than I do on this game.

I bought Space Invaders Evolution on the PSP for a few quid, thinking I'd played the demo and it was pretty good. Except I was thinking of Space Invaders Extreme. Evolution was just insultingly easy, with a couple of chargeable weapons that completely break the game. Genetos is really good, though I'm not sure why it gives you 15 lives at the start of each game. Will try the harder settings. Haven't got past the level 3 boss in Crimzon Clover (Original) yet, but I'm just warming up...

Ah, finally, got the mushihimesama futari black label original 1cc. But scorewise... Not so good. A meager 278 million... My record is 311 million, made ot halfway through stage 5.

But as I got the 1cc now, the pressure's off and I can concentrate on score. :awe:

After a long break with this game I gave it another go today and nailed it!

Mushihimesama (ps2) Maniac, W-type

Funny part, I think I died on stage-2 and then missed the extend at the end of stage-3, then recovered and no missed 4 and was able to narily make it through 5 using every last bomb until the end. Very exciting game, and I usually play Original by the bullets go light speed!
