Since you asked so nicely.

Arrange Mode
MrMonkeyMan - 291,324,740 - 5-2 - Black - Proof

It's not really much of an improvement, but I think I should be able to break 300 million if I stick with it. Maybe even clear it, who knows.

How far are you getting? I got to the last boss w/ my best score, but w/ just one life. I think I beat his first form. This is very fun, but it's low on the list for me. I would like to see other people play competitively though.

I had one life and very little barrier left for the final pattern. I imagine I could get there with 2 other lives in stock. I had a couple very bad deaths on this particular run.

I got 154m a few hours ago. Its not more an improvement than your score but I'm working on it :)

BTW: I never saw the last form on arrange mode, is it allowed to use kakusei mode on arrange? because I believe it must be HARD if not..

Umm, I don't think you can use kakusei mode to damage the boss, but I've never really had much of a go at the final pattern.

Arrange Mode
MrMonkeyMan - 322,875,597 - 5-2 - Black - Proof

How's that? It was a great run up to the final boss where I completely sucked ass. I did make it to the final pattern with some barrier left, but like an idiot I was pointblanking the boss, so when I used the barrier I ended up healing him. Hah, next time!

Just got it. Pretty good quality... and you're playing very well, my congrats.

I don't know if I'm ever getting such a score, but I doubt it since I have nearly no experience in Arcade Mode tactics which is useful I think.

Arrange
MrMonkeyMan - 334,320,536 - 5-2 - Black - Proof

I think the picture below demonstrates my frustration with this result perfectly.

God, how unfair can the world be :)

Did you try to shoot the final form on kakusei mode?

Can I just ask, how many points do you get for each life left over when finishing the game?

Thanks

EDIT:Also, MrMonkeyMan, you are sick. Congrats.

10 million points per life, 5 million for each life container, something like 5,000 points for each gold ingot, and a max of 16 million for a full barrier.

Or so I believe.

Yeah, I wasn't very happy at that point. I thought for sure I was screwed as soon as I stopped making contact with the boss, but a space opened up just in time.

I'm sure I've had luckier moments, but yeah, that was a tense moment. I had a few other close calls in that run.

I know unfortunately, in scoreboard me always are put with my acronym that is draft from my true name. While RAIDEN FIGHTERS 2 is the nik with which I enroll myself in the forum. Spiace,se from annoyance it leaves alone RAIDEN me FIGHTERS 2.

Awsome quality capture (better than Cave and INH if you ask me)! Congrats on the ALL. Cave should have released Arranged in PCB format similar to DOJ BL where you can choose either at boot time. This is what makes the port superior IMHO...98% accurate to the PCB, plus Arranged, and in stereo! PS2->Jamma and I'm in heaven.

BTW: any chance I can get a copy of your PS2 saves files (assuming you did save the Arrange replay)?

Want to beat the last boss on your own or what?^^

I like the arrange mode much more than the arcade. Its just stunning with all those golden 100's unlike the arcade mode.
And the soundtrack of course... yehaw  8)
