Arcade - 2,676,710 - Shasta - Level 4

Would have been much better if I'd beaten the L3 boss before - had 3 lives when I started that battle and got caught out by a range of later attacks I didn't expect.

Awesome game, glad I bought it.

welcome aboard :)

wait til you hit stage 4

and if you haven't yet, try out Harder Mode, and Score Attack mode as well (SA mode is particularly addictive). codes are in the strat section, i believe. if not, check cave-stg

Kasumi B stage 3,

Finally breaking into stage 4 on my more controlled runs but balls to the wall pick up everything runs tend to end with my face getting raped by stage 3 end boss, really should practice that stage just by itself but it feels like cheating to the masochist in me. PS is a very very addictive and fun game, too bad I never think I'll be good enough to get infinite lives or 1cc it without them. I think I'll be hitting an impassible wall once I get into stage 5. Either way I'll keep updating as i progress this is def the game of my summer until it burns me out and I sell to fund some pork!

Nice score attack JPJ, I can pony up only about 1.20 mil best so far is around 1.5 mil.

you've only had it a little while. i don't think it'll be too far off that you'll be reaching stage 4, and then 5 :) once you hit stage 5 though.... :P

post as often as you like dude :)

hey jpj

you may want to add some boards for the port specifically, open a new thread (I would), or let someone else do the latter; there are simply too many differences to warrant comparison

I'd just add an asterisc or something to scores done on the 360. The only difference is slowdown, isn't it? There's no infinite lives score on the table anyway.

Splitting tables sucks.

We still need a 1.00, 1.01, and Arrange table though.

I'd agree that 1.01 is different enough to require a seperate table. The changes definitely make a 1cc more realistic, it's more like standard Yagawa fare (though the difficulty still makes Garegga look really easy).

Of course we need extra tables for 1.01 and Arrange! I was solely referring to 1.00, which is not necessary to be split up.

The other two extra tables can be included in this very thread please. Any extra threads would be just too cumbersome.

I realized, that I have slightly higher scores done back in the days with the PCB version, so here's just an update with old scores:

Arcade:
Plasmo - 8,894,180 - Stage 6 - Lace (A)

Score Attack:
Plasmo - 5,649,760 - Lace (A) - ALL

i would like separate threads for both MMP and PS remix modes, we have four different threads for DOJ and i haven't seen any problems there. i'm happy for v1.00 scores to be posted here. if someone wants to create a separate thread for 360 PS and MMP alternate modes then feel free. but if no-one's willing, i'm happy to do that myself

Do you mean seperate threads for 1.01 and Arrange modes? At any rate, I wouldn't mind doing the PS 1.01 thread. :) Just say the word.

hey dude, if you're happy maintaining it, if you could do a thread for Pink Sweets v1.01 + Arrange Mode, that would be great :)

Playing arcade 1.0 on the port. Fun stuff. I've been avoiding bombing to keep the rank low, I'll have to throw it on training mode and see what enemies/scenery to bomb for medals.

Acid King - 2,879,260 - Stage 4 - Shasta

Never ever use the bomb, if it's not absolutely impossible without it. A bomb always gives you less points and an extreme rank increase.

There is no scenery to bomb in this game, nothing that gives you points, anyway.
Most of the scoring targets are enemies, medals (both kinds) and projectiles (all kinds). There are alternate point values for enemies depending on what attack you use (so typical Yagawa there), but only attempt to push score with the Rose Cracker when you know you're capable of dealing with the resultant rank increase.

Acid King - 3,229,570 - Stage 4 - Shasta

So basically I should skip power ups, milk destructible shots, medal and never bomb. Simple enough.

Plasmo - 9,542,650 - Stage 6 - Lace (A)

Finally a new highscore from me. Unfortunately several mistakes made this run actually very bad. Replay is up at leaderboards. I'm sorry for the stupid deaths... :(
