They are the same ones found on the official site. Go to the "stage" section and check them out.
The booklet is more or less a collection of all materials on the website, which was also printed across several issues of Arcadia. The only thing missing is comments by the character designer on each character, but is perhaps a paragraph in total, tops.
There is, however, some unreleased point information that I've not gone over in detail.

Wow, awsome news! Got my preorder in.
I watched in misery last night as the last two dvds on YAJ went for 18,000 and 17,500 yen, thinking I'd never get one. I even saw someone use chaosjapan to try and bid (but eventually got outbid). I bet that is one happy dude now.

It would have been nice to have a tate option with all these DVDs with extra space galore, but what can you do?
Also, the sound on my Ageha DVD is quite bad, so I'm curious if this is problem for everybody? It's almost entirely in the left audio channel and there's a constant buzzing sound. It's actually pretty hard to listen to with my headphones on.

Just got an email from Play-asia saying my ESPGaluda II DVD set was shipped. Maybe I'll get it before I leave for Taipei and Tokyo next tuesday, but I'm guessing it'll be waiting for me at the post office when I get back from my trip on the 29th.
BTW they have a bunch in stock and ready to ship apparently so if anyone who didn't preorder one wants one, they're available.

Maybe it's just because I don't speak Japanese, but what's the big deal?bpe wrote:I haven't read this whole freaking thread, but a quick search for "heimat" didn't yield anything, so --
... anyone else noticed that the 5th stage boss (I believe) launches from a socket that says something like "Shinya, meine heimat" ??

So one of ESP Galuda 2's top players is 12 years old?
Yeah that's it I'm hanging it up. I'm too old to be playing these games. I should have started young like a Jedi or something. Course back when I was young we had River Raid so uh...yeah not comparable.
I bet this kid was playing Battle Garegga while getting his diaper changed..and 1CCing it of course.
EDIT: NEVERMIND I'm a moron. Clover-tac as usual. The names/ages listed in the Play-asia description had me confused.

I actually had it listed in the strategy thread some time ago. I'm impressed you could read it off the DVD. Anyways, it is all part of the story. Those that aren't familiar w/ Shinra should probably start by familiarizing themselves with the story of ESPGaluda, and for shits and giggles this thread has the story and character profile translations of ESPGaluda II.bpe wrote:I haven't read this whole freaking thread, but a quick search for "heimat" didn't yield anything, so --

Yes the Ageha capture/replay is screwed sound wise. Not as annoying watching on a TV with crappy sound to begin with.MrMonkeyMan wrote: Also, the sound on my Ageha DVD is quite bad, so I'm curious if this is problem for everybody? About the same as Mushi. Technically, it's late, which is worisome. Mushi came out in October/November, and was announced the following April, an was out by July, IIRC. Mushi was out in June, and released by the following March. Galuda II has been out 7 months, and we've yet to hear a port announcement.Anyone know how long between the arcade releases of Mushi and Irbara and the port announcements?
FYI, I picked up an extra DVD from Play Asia, and checked it out. Everything seems to be identical to the one sold by Cave. No evidence of "reprint" or anything like that.
