USAAF Mustang Soundtrack
Particularly a fan of the Stage 7 theme. The whole soundtrack is amazingly brutal and abrasive though, so unless you like that sort of thing you'll probably hate it

Love the obsessively repeating, pounding groove of the first boss theme, especially how it explodes after the break. Sounds like it wants to do some violence. :o

After much research I discovered how to make Akira Yamaoka's forgettable SDATCHER OST into a neat Yamaoka solo EP. A few awesomely moody, super-catchy and unsettling gems on this album, largely in Yamaoka's beloved early eighties synthpop mode.

As a fan of his earlier Silent Hill soundtracks, before he became a little too infatuated with soft rock caterwauling and Def Leppard guitar solos, I particularly enjoyed hearing shades of "Betrayal," "Tears of" and "The Wait / Silent Heaven" in Zero Contact, Gibson and Chris Knows respectively, while Main Titles and Diner Warsaw are exactly the kind of electronic bounce that was always lurking around the SH canon via "Terror in the Depths of The Fog," "Fukuro," "Kinoko" and SH4's criminally unused track "Remodeling."

>Main Titles
>A Man And The World
>Zero Contact
>Undead Souls
>Gibson
>Chris Knows
>Diner Warsaw
>Farewell
>End Titles

Posting this soundtrack in here because even though I really love this, its technically video game music. Eufloria has an amazing soundtrack by a man I now call a friend and have released tracks of on my label. Great music to chill with, but I've never played the game this music goes for. I have heard all the related releases to this soundtrack already.

Fuck, the whole thing is brick walled to hell. Did they listen to Anamanaguchi and think "Yeah, this whole horribly mastered thing is awesome"?!

Look at this shit. Jesus.

SO GOOD  Never really been into a Sakuraba soundtrack before, but this one is my kind of stuff. Stoically tuneful, driving militaristic action BGM. Herzog Zwei-like. Not without its jamming side either. Game rocks too (credit to Enhasa for the excellent posts and badass replay on the MD ver)

The S Factor: Sonia and Silver is an awesome hack of Sonic the Hedgehog 1 on Genesis, and it has awesome music.

So MEGA-upbeat and positive I had to change it to my alarm clock sound. The ideal soundtrack for jetting out of the house at 8am with a pice of toast dangling out of your mouth!

Just started playing Kokuga.
Great to hear Namiki make a return to the FM sound.
Some of it sounds like it's straight out of Wangan Sensou.

Yeah! It's great to hear him 'back' on his older style. Now we just need his old style basslines 8)

Namiki's been doing some interesting things on his soundcloud as of recent, lots of SN76489 tunes. Good stuff too.

The music from Radar Mission's Game B is awesome. It reminds me a lot of Gallantry from Raiden DX for some reason.

Great song! Like the slightly ominous effect of the intro between the higher-flying bits. Definitely a resemblance to Go Sato's stoically catchy mini-epics.

Been digging Konami's Crime Fighters BGM lately (CRIMSON STREET). Like Raiden I & II it exemplifies good arcade action music. Compress a hard day's worth of anger and struggle into a minute or so's loop and make it catchy as all hell. I particularly like the battering drum sound on this song, it really sounds like someone beating the shit out of a weathered old kit.

Yup. ^__^ Jirurun of Siter Skain is really good at crafting mini-epics of ethereal, synth-driven metal. You should check out Kamui and RefleX's soundtracks too if you haven't. A couple favourites from theirs:

>Kamui OST - Mother Brain ALLTYNEX
>RefleX OST - Poison of Scorpion
