Xbox 360: Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 (November 2009)

Interesting to see no one has the all clear on the Ultra leaderboards yet. Not too surprising though considering I tried it out and died almost immediately. It's much harder than Mushi 1's Ultra. At least that one I could get through the first stage.

I tried out Novice Ultra. It was fun, but a little bit too much of a push over. It would probably be a decent challenge without auto-bomb, but as it is, the No Miss 1CC was a little too easy. They give out bombs like candy. I missed the 2 1ups in the last level though because if you're not right on top of 'em when they appear they just shoot up off top of the screen.

I also find it interesting that if you play on Novice Original (not sure about Novice Ultra) you get another bomb for each of those 3 (maybe 4?) dragons in the 2nd half of stage 5. That combined with the two 1-Ups was way overkill.

Then I went to 360 Original and got my ass thoroughly handed to me once I got to stage 5. Must practice more.

No it isn't? I just checked and the only avaliable items are the PV and Premium Theme.

I have a JPN console, and it wouldn't let me download it via the game using either a JPN or UK gamertag. Had to log in to the JPN Marketplace to download it.

Well, after a few goes, I have to say that I already think that BL Original Mode is already the best mode in the whole game. Much more interesting bullet patterns, less frantic switching between shot types, audible cue indicating when to switch. A much tighter game experience IMO.

You just had to do what I wrote above to download it with UK points on a UK gamertag.

This download is now up on the main add-ons section for US and UK gamertags so you no longer have to find it via the my xbox - game library folders as well.

Confirmed for US accounts and US points as well. Unfortunately I have to go to work so I can't play it until later, but I loaded it up and started a game to test it. This weekend will be awesome.

OK, this will do the trick as well:

- go to xbox.com
- log in your account (USA, UK, does not matter)
- change the the local to Japan (drop menu in the upper left corner of the main page)
- go to marketplace, the file is listed in the new arrivals of the DLC.
- just buy it with US points and put in to your download queue.

It only works if the file is available worldwide (as Mushi is). Otherwise, when you click in the item, it says:
"Sorry
This offer is not valid in your region, or it has expired."

I have tried with other games in the past and just have tried again with Magna Carta DLC.

Downloading now... Hell, this was hard to find in the japanese market place. Not accessable from inside the game and not listed in the new releases yet. Somehow found it by browsing genres, shooters, last game in the last and then jumping around between top-rated, best selling and god knows what

I just selected my game in the dashboard, hit "y", click "Downloads" and there it was. Just gonna get some points and buy it later.

Yeah, DLC's are tied to the gamertag that downloads them, so when you get your own HDD, you can just re-download it for free.

I tried that (before your first post) and it didn't work when the content was first loaded onto Live. It's possible there was a delay from when it was available on Live and was then available via the games own download section. It didn't matter anyway as I had plenty of MSP in my JPN account.
