No more scores.
Here's the text file with all the scores in it, it's also updated on the first post:

Not me this time, but then my score and choice of ship make that obvious. I did start trawling for Mosquito stage 2 clips yesterday, to find out how to 'S' Rank the boss, but to no avail. Is this even possible without using bombs?Smraedis wrote:Oh nice
So who used my old replay on youtube to help them learn the game?
Small Announcement:- I have discovered that STGT08 coincides with my weekends away in Belgium this year (as it just did with 19XX), plus two Trade Shows. Its the usual lack of playing time for me, but this year its gonna be worse than STGT06 & 07. I will have 30 hours less playing time than most everybody else - per week.
Instead of pulling out altogether, I'll stay in with the hope that I can be of use to namakoteam on one of the weeks - should I actually have full playing hours available.
Shame, 'cause I would have enjoyed the Comp

I did. Was helpful for learning the quickkill tactics on certain enemies and bosses. And I would like to see your new replay!! =DSmraedis wrote:Oh nice
I'll most likely be putting up my replay on Super-play/youtubes, if anyone would like to see it.

Sorry to hear that DEL, I hope you'll be able to get at least one week to have a decent crack at a game.DEL wrote:Small Announcement:- I have discovered that STGT08 coincides with my weekends away in Belgium this year (as it just did with 19XX), plus two Trade Shows. I've been out of town visiting my family this weekend, so I haven't been checking the board. I'll put up the score thread sometime tonight when I'm back in Toledo.sikraiken wrote:Here's the text file with all the scores in it, it's also updated on the first post:

I watched it + RCA 19.2mil on super-play. BTW I know someone will ask if they downloaded RCA's, so SMPlayer can rotate in GUI and MPlayer can with -vf rotate=1 (cw... 2 is ccw) and ffdshow can and I imagine VLC can too.
About 19xx, Ruldra already explained custom buttons, but maybe people don't know you can leave your thumb on autofire at all time and tap with charge also (chording). Also, you can charge bombs so sometimes you'd have to hold all 3 buttons. I mapped a shoulder button on my pad to bomb for this reason. You could also do a setup with negative input, i.e. button 1 is depressed unless you push it, but I never bother with that because I'd have to reprogram my brain.

Alright, great. I updated the file as well as the scoreboard to fix those couple errors (sorry! mikwuyma will be doing the score threads from now on - he just couldn't do it this week since he was out of town).Davey wrote:I've been out of town visiting my family this weekend, so I haven't been checking the board.
