Nice, don't see many Egret 3s around. Probably 'cause they don't have the nifty rotate mechanism of the E2 though. I always wonder why Taito took that out.

It was at my wedding.

And it was fucking awesome.

My wife has a friend who puts these "3D" cakes together and made it as a gift.

I guess it is about time I entered this thread. I haven't completely finished cleaning this thing, there is still some tape marks on the bottom but I am lazy and busy and mostly lazy. Got it nice and cheap and I am really happy with it, aside from the stupid marquee.

And yes, the P1 stick is shorter than the P2 stick. I am a moron.

Just posted this over at the NG board, but I thought i'd share photos of my game room with you guys too :D I have three cabinets now. The first one is a Sega NEW ASTRO CITY, the next is a NEO GEO wood cabinet (It looks like a conversion, and sadly it's not in the best condition..) and last but not least is a Sega AERO CITY (acquired from my good buddy dubdubdub!). Overall great selection/variety of cabs to have. That Aero City looks mint! Is it a custom paint job?

the Aero is in really amazing condition :shock: The sea-foam green is rarer then the others (so i've been told). The monitor is in amazing condition too -- I feel lucky to have it in my house!

Edit: Here is info on the cab from dubs:

"Apparently this was the first run of the Aero cabs. They originally made them in seafoam green and orange for that years AOU show and early distribution. Very very shortly afterwards Sega changed to the blue and white theme that is so common today. In addition to the color being different, the side art has a slightly different shape with "Aero City" stacked. Also, the upper CP is completely plastic with a move strip area built in."
