- R-Type Final: The Directors Cut.

- PS2/3.

- Remove slowdown, fill the boring bits with more action - even if it's just popcorn enemies. Perhaps throw in extra levels and a two player mode that plays like Leo.

- Because R-Type Final was a bit pants and an unworthy end to the series.
The biggest unanswered question is where is the money? [1CCS]

I'd have to choose Ranger X. This game is begging for a sequel. I'd put it on the PS3, or even Xbox 360 Live Arcade. It'd play kinda like the original, except I'd make it harder, make the graphics hi-res and slick, and make the control a little smoother.

A new Master of Magic on the PC. Turn-based strategy games are few and far between--especially compared to the insane number of shmups available. MOM is probably the best turn-based strategy game after Civilization and Alpha Centauri, and it never got a sequel.
