Methinks I should mention that I pretty much just played it like ther first Galuda, and didn't even bother with "zesshikai" or whatever it was (it scares me), and that yes, I am aware that "real" high scores on this game are a digit longer than mine.
I dunno what his Ketsui score was
I mighta broken 9 mil or so, I honestly forget...then again, I had only a vague memory of having read how scoring works in that game, so I mostly played for survival (it wasn't half bad difficulty-wise till stage 3 or so...the boss pwned me, as they say).
thanks to BulletMagnet for making the trek to my pad and showing all the n00bs how to play manic fighters.

Being one of the more experienced shmuppers in the group was a whole new sensation for me, heh heh.

Btw, that reminds me, I think I left the paper bag to wear over my head at your place...keep it as a memento, if you wish.
the night ended with the vert cab monitor dying out, so that's a new project for me before the next meetup.
Ouch, I must have left right before that...hope it's not too much trouble to fix it.
Anyways, thanks much to bay for holding the shmeet, and to his pal with the basement arcade for allowing us to drop by as well. A fun day: I got to play Galuda II and Ketsui for the first time, fiddle with hardware, and shmup on a joystick for the first time in who knows how long. I look forward to the next time I can drop by, thanks again for being a generous host.
