I found out about him through the boating set; someone pulled his channel up one night, had the whole marina howling. Was about his luggage collection IIRC, which he was flogging on his front lawn to cover his latest divorce - everyone knew this was a true man of luxury.

Archie definitely wouldn't approve of CC's Zebra emulation antics, in fact I'm pretty sure he'd call them all sorts of terrible things before firing up his Saturn for a randy old fap to The Throbbing Nightmare. The man would not settle for inferior craftsmanship! Certainly more of an M2 guy.
Shit you have his mannerisms to a T. I’d imagine a man of his caliber exclusively plays EXA and M2 ports.

Another question BIL. I’ve actuallly been curious, are you a professional writer or something? Your write ups are always mind boggling to read and fucking hilarious. Surely you realize this? If you’re not already writing you should be

Worry not, apparently on the steam page it says the cutscenes have been "thoughtfully revised for a modern revival to respect the heroines' privacy"

lol, wut? what is the point of this jank fest then? I'm reminded of the valis collection that had the MSX2 Valis 2 which just threw a giant black bar over the digital nipples awkwardly in the middle of the cutscene. Is that what a modern revival means?

The saturn version I thought scrubbed away almost all of the sex (including the nipples!) from the original games anyway. So what's left to cut out, lol.

Huh, so this is what shmup players want...
so BIL inadvertently pushed these ports?
I'm taking both because unfortunately I can't resist 90's anime design...of any kind  .

Anyway I guess their Zebra Engine is further improved (right? RIGHT?)

Anyway...why doesn't City-Connection port P47 Aces? :(

Because the only emulator they have (which isn't even theirs) only emulates the Sega Saturn. Aces' hardware isn't properly emulated on Mame even after some decades, if that's a hint.

Well Under Defeat is not for Saturn, like they did that they could also remake P47 Aces T_T

Under Defeat HD was on a Windows-friendly platform, like today's. Nothing to do with Jaleco's 32bit PCB.

I don't know anything about porting or how hard it is to do it (and basically nothing about PCB hardware differences), I just know that it's hard to do perfect ports.
Too bad...but I appreciate that City-Connection is pushing hard lately.

This is especially chuckle-worthy to be appearing on Steam, which has eagerly embraced its title as the internet's leading laissez-faire source for the most degenerate interactive smut you could imagine.

I know the Saturn version itself was already toned down compared to its other versions, but is the Japanese release of Steam-Heart's Saturn Tribute on PS5/Switch the same as the western Steam release with the 'thoughtful revisions' or are those exclusive to the western localization, if anyone knows?

How's the input lag? Is it shite like the rest of the Saturn tribute titles?
