Any interested in a Shmupmeet in Germany?

in spring is fine as well, because who says there can only be one shmupmeet? ;D

besides, i'm on vacation the next 2 weeks, so i'm pretty much available to play with you guys any day. feel free to contact me whenever you have time to blast some enemies.

btw my ibara kit arrived yesterday

25th is now standing, 17:00 will be the starting point

on the pcb side we'll have espgaluda, ibara, most likely progear, ketsui, raiden fighters jet and perhaps mushi futari.
so far, 5 people will be here. all fine with me.

In the end, we were 4 people and played from 17:00 to 03:00 ^^
It was a cozy little round and it was a lot of fun.
The next shmupmeet is probably coming up in spring, but i can't guarantee that this will be at the same place again, as i'm planning to dump my g/f which lives here, too.

Hi,

I`ll open my Appartment near Hamburg for a Shmup Meet.

Jokel & Geist know the Location. 150 m²

We can make a bigger Meeting but it has to be next Year as I`m too busy over X-Mas.

Hopefully I manage it to Tri Sync my Naomi Cabs, than we would have 3 Vert Low-Res Cabs! & 3 Hori Low-Res.

So who is interested in a Bigger Meet?

1st we check out how many we will be

2nd we make a Date for it

What about "Herr Schatten"? from Hamburg, Stade is just 45min Trainride away.

As I`m working as a Sport Clothing Retailer time around X-Mas is pretty rough for me.

I would prefer to already set a Rough date around Mid February till Mid of March.

So anyone interested in a Bigger Meet can Post his wish Date in this thread & we get a Date set Mid of january. By that Time I`ll have time to work things out.

I'm in I guess. Hamburg is just a 2 hour drive from my home and spring 09 fits as well... my first exam that year is on the 17th of April.

Dates I`m aiming @ are Weekends Saturday & Sunday

When Sven666 comes over from Sweden we can Start on a Friday eve as well.

Here the Weekend Dates always Saturday & Sunday:

14-15 Feb
21-22 Feb ----------This is my Fav. Date
07-08 Mar
14-15 Mar

I would like to visit the shmup-meet.At moment I can say all dates would be o.k..If I`ll make a promise to come,I can pick up 2-3 guys.I live in the middle of Hamburg.So I will wait and watch out for exactly date of meeting and hope it fits!

I must have missed this thread... shit I'd love to attend a shmupmeet but I live in the deep South - Augsburg, to be more precise. Especially since I'm going on vacation in January there's no way I'll be able to afford train tickets to Hamburg in February or March....

I could only offer a modded PS2 with the usual Cave etc. stuff anyway...

Live in Hannover myself so I could be in Hamburg pretty quick.

Just don't excpect me to rule in any shmup you plan to play^^

Actually i want to host another small shmupmeet like the last one, to celebrate my birthday on the 25th.
If there is some interest, i'd say we do this thing on the 24th (Saturday).
I'm willing to take up to 6 people in here.
Would love to see Geist and Joker around here, but everybody else is free to join.
Until then i most likely will have my J-Pac,
so Mame on my cab is hopefully possible, too =)

No Problem, but we get up to 20 People pretty close. Thats when I say it`ll be too much.

We play the Shmups for Fun sure most off us 1Credit and see how far we can get...

Runefaust did a 1CC on Progear, I`m working on 1CC Futari been short before the Boss once & had a 1CC on Deathsmiles.

We Plan a ShmupMeet & not a Challenge

There are a lot VS. Fighters, Mariokart on NGC & Wii to play as well
