My 34" ultrawide has an 1800R curve, and I actually prefer that, it's too wide to be flat, the edges would be so much farther away than the center. It actually makes the image look more normal. But 1000R? No thanks, that's just distortion city, way too much. And you don't need any curve on a 16:9.
