This game was so violent relatively for a kid's game. These bosses fucking SUFFERED when they died. Goddamn...
Ah, great stuff textbook example of bosses that cut a highly intimidating profile, but are more than manageable in mechanical terms.
Featured cartoony decapitations, too - for both the nasty bug baddies, and adorable teddy bear rescuables. Possibly gated behind an unlockable cheat, but they made sure to get as much Starship Troopers gore in there as Ninty would allow.

I'm impressed with how many inspirations they fit into this game and nothing exploded. I think Jet Force is my favorite science fiction setting. The presentation of this game is still a top 5 for me. I really don't think you could imitate this but I feel that way for basically every great N64 game. Rare really was a different breed. I'm glad they put out so much great work for the N64 before their swift decline.
Bah gawd, the BATISFACTIONS (`w´メ) of decisively flattening this iconic slippery endboss bastard. ITS FC BATMAN MUHFUCKA (◎w◎;)
Especially with Kodaka-sama and co's ineffably grainy, gritty *BASHAOOO* SFX! Fitting that after inventing Iori's 8 Wine Cups SDM, he gets KOd in future-classic FTG slowmo!
