And as would be expected, there are tons of comments about how 15 is not a statistically accurate sample size and so forth. I read Slashdot almost daily, but the gaming comments that get modded up and most of the gaming stories are so bad -- 90% of the comments tend to be from people who seemingly play Quake or WoW all the time or people who just want to post about how awesome X game system is on their HDTV and surround sound setup. It's sad, I didn't see any comments at all about people actually liking Gradius or finding it cool that others used the same technique, etc.
