Well... The game is so detailed and probably the best 2D for the generation, besides, you need to see the pink objects (though, still looks good on the crt)

It was years before PS3 even existed and besides, PS2 could keep such game engines pretty smooth & busy as soon as 2001 (Baldur's Gate: Dark Aliance). All it took was a competent programming.

Heck, see what a riot Spartan: Total Warrior can be on PS2 as well as Xbox & GameCube.
