When I was a kid if you saw an anime cover you had to stop and show your parents and friends.
Anime in printed game art was always replaced and the anime boom had just begun so anime in public view was something to be excited about.

This is what we got...very smelly and generic.

Actually had to complete it legit before I found out about the cheat codes, and it made me laugh later when I found out how simple the invincibility code was. I don't use it though, the "T-Braster" trick is enough to make the game a less rage-inducing affair.

BTW My brother and I used to laugh about the Jamie Bunker ads, especially with how spaghetti-tubed his arms were. My brother also complained "What's this Professional Gamer bullshit? That would be like saying you're a professional hotdog eater", of course accidentally predicting years in advance that such a profession would come into being. :-P

^ The real cover art is more generic for the US release. But the dude used for the ad campaign is so infamous, that he might as well be on the cover.
