I finally did it 3 hours ago
I beat this flocker on default settings and I cant belive I made such a fuss in this tread
Not that Im that good
This Game is on the Bottom of that Jap wiki
Im far away from bullet hell guys
But I only gained interest in STG s last september and even Compile stuff kicked my ass
I ve beat Thunder Force IV last month
And I confess part III turns me off due to its wimpy reputation

Also I know this is off topic but don t you take Compile Games seriously
I Know Compile Games are not very Hardcore
But there s no denial

Who cares if something is hardcore or not if you enjoy it. Compile is my absolute favorite game developer, yeah their games are pretty easy but they make me happy and that's the point of entertainment.

Bullet hell guys should try aleste 2 or super aleste on the hardest settings
I tell you they will curse the day they ve ever trashed Compile
But I agree Compile is one of the best stg developers even if they failed to bring chalenge they have a thon of qualitys no developer acomplished like

Combining Stg with Zelda(Guardian Legend)

Pushing the Limits off a thon of retro systems(Gun Nac; Aleste 2;Power Strike II; Super Aleste; Spriggan and Rude Breaker)

The Zanac Rank System(Zanac)

Having a Great Shooter never released on Japan (Power Strike II)

Biggest arsenal in a shooter(Zanac Neo)

Mix your ingredientes weapon system(Spriggan)

Great Shumps in a handheld(GG Aleste n GG Aleste 2)

Metalic Music (M.U.S.H.A)

How in the name of flock is there any denial on them?

Because people have different tastes, and that's OK. Just enjoy what you like but don't try to force it on anyone else if they've tried it and don't care for it

Update I beat Gradius II
I think it s a way better game than the original or at least it s like comparing Super Metroid to Metroid
Im proud I posted this on december last year to whine about Gradius And I ve got so hardcore in no time
On the other hand I bougth Solar Stiker like it was fresh and I beat it the next day and that feelt like a disapointement
So I think I reached the average level of this forum users even tough I didn t gave bullet hells a try

By the way how many of you guys have beat all the inferno leveled stg´s like the Dodonpachis;R Types;Raidens;Truxton II;Battle Garregga;Gradius III;Detana Twinbee and IO

How much hard is Dettana on single player anyway?Should I tackle it now?

IMO, Dodonpachi is easier to 1cc the first loop then Gradius II's first loop. I wouldn't call it inferno level, you just need to know the basics of bullet hell.

I ve heard Bullet Hells we re not as hard as they seem
But I tough the Dodonpachi series were infernal as in the Hardcore Gaming 101 article
Now Im interested in getting to the sub genre
I only have a Saturn unless you count the Genesis or the Gameboy
And Im not in a mood to spent 50 euros
Wich Bullet Hell Game shall I try first?

I recommend just playing a bunch in Mame, along with some of the freeware ones on pc. You can buy what you like most later.

I recommend Cho Ren Sha 68k on pc very highly. My favorite stg ever and it's completely free.
