Yeah I no that haha... I actually was considering the weed:brain cell depreciation factor when writing that post lol. I really actually was lol, just gonna have to take my word for it on that, I experience this in every area of life though tbh lol. Turns out I seem to do enough to be actually very successful in what I do. Although to be honest I DO know that I could do better if I wasn't a stoner, (again in all aspects of life) lol. This game in particular had an accelerated version of the short term memory loss. The stoner factor is null and void as this applies across the board lol.
Started shmups thinking...yeah I'm good enough to smash these games, all I have to do is put in the time.
Humbling experience.
The challenge, the tunes, the psychedelic visuals keep me coming back again, and again, and again...
Please don't outcast me just cuz I like to escape the harsh realities of life with a doob.
Make no mistake, I am 100% a hardcore shmup player through and through, no other gaming genre can give me the fix that shmups do...it's all second best lol.

It's like this... Shmups are hard.
Shmups are harder with weed.
Shmups are harder with alcohol.
Shmups with weed and alcohol are very hard.
Actually probably best not to bother, you might puke!
Sometimes you kick ass at shmups when you are stoned.
Sometimes you kick ass at shmups when you are drunk.
Either way they are still really fun....tunes and replayability contribute to this in a big way.(in a way that a lot of games cannot)
Not many games have this draw when inebriated lol.
That's my excuse anyway, accept it! lol

Tyrian's episode 4 has some amazing multi-stage bosses in it! It's probably my favorite episode in the whole game!

For me it would have to be the bosses in Radiant Silvergun. The who's who of bosses imo. Just about each and every boss oozes creativity and that wackiness that only Treasure can do.

Completely agree. The whole game is just a complete masterpiece. Damn I really wish treasure would make another shooter. I'm playing it lots lately and just can't get enough of it

. The only slight gripe I have is all the milky grazy stuff. Although it does add another whole dimension to the game so I can't knock it for that. I think I've decided that RSG is the greatest shooter ever created

Favorite boss from Kamui: Kamui, Alltynex OS, and However-The-Fuck-You-Spell-That (last boss)

Favorite boss from RefleX: Scorpio and Cancer. The latter is an amazing climax to the tensest part of the game. Great variety of attacks on both too, beyond just bullets.

Favorite boss from Alltynex Second: Scorpio again lol. Satariel is great too.

Honourable mention to PIG JOE, st5 boss of Gun.Smoke*, for one of the most harrowing single-shot attacks ever. Second-guessing is an excellent way to get your head blown off by a combination of vicious speed and highly volatile RNG. Controlled reaction is the only sure way to survive, easier said than done with the usual zako horde raining down bullets and dynamite.

...can I nominate Gun.Smoke's zako for Best Boss Supporting Enemies?

They're the real terror in that vicious game.

Glad to see as big a Radiant Silvergun fan as me. I think in many cases this game is frowned upon cause imo its 'too popular' that the hard of the hardcore are like 'not that game again'. As far Treasure making another shooter, I'd love that. Or any style of game they make. Truth is though they're more into re-releasing their old games and its cool and all, but I'd much rather see something new from them. They haven't put out anything original as far as I now since way back in 2010 with Sin and Punishment 2. Maybe after 20 years of awesomeness, they've finally fallen victim to the fact that game making is a very expensive ordeal.
