The thing is it is really selfish to attempt suicide in this fashion, block the trains, injure a few others but they always go for the train option it seems.

Madness.

Cheers,

Minty.
There was a guy in Cali that tried to commit suicide by SUV + train. Then at the last moment he left the SUV and derailed the train. Cops found him.

I dated someone that was hit by someone that wanted to suicide himself and his pregnant wife in a car .

Two things, from John Dvorak's website of all places (why doesn't he check for typos? agh)

TESTICLE MUNCHING FISH are coming to the US!

Underwater SUVs, 6.5 tons of ammunition, and a possible half-alien origin aren't enough to protect us! Another SUV story.

To all GONAD-BINGING FISH:

Back to the fish tank with 'em...the one filled with Drano, but not while sitting down. Remember kids - get your pets spayed and neutered.

p.s. Yesterday was the 70th anniversary of "nuke it from orbit just to be sure."

I loved hearing about that one a few weeks ago. I think the logical reason is he's a gun runner to Mexico :-) Its quite the setup though with the underwater SUV. I never heard that part.

I remember seeing this back in England getting on for over five years:

It makes no sense at all.

What I find most aggravating is that the stabber was considered to have reduced responsibility, but I've never read anything that indicated there was mandatory follow-through with mental help, or any restrictions. The brother of the murdered man points just this out. At trial both sides argued insanity, but the decision to free the defendant and assume the insanity was completely sane seems as reckless as the original one-day sentence with no follow-through.

Yes, got off on "insane at the time" but "fine now". That's bollocks right there.

You have to ask how on Earth they let her out - you'd get longer time for shop lifting.

This is extreme:

What concerns me is how close those residential looking buildings are to this site.
Absolutely no care or regard for safety what so ever.

Ah yes, the ever class obsessed, British prude woman with a perfect example:

How you can use public transport, have your Bluetooth on broadcast and leave all your ports 'open' and then be shocked is pretty nutty in my book in this day and age.

More over a 'people' than an individual but incredibly nutty:

http://www.bbc.com/news/business-34587650

I could say that I am glad to be living outside of the UK at this point in time but I doubt that Germany would survive the fallout when it blows.

And only a while back we had this fine example of cautious, disciplined control:

Memories are very short indeed

What, you don't want a French money pit build with Chinese subcontractor-quality on your land ?

Between England and Germany lies France... I do not think that the nuclear fallout will mind this being the case though.

Do you feel safe with them running it?

You know we have on our soil the most reactors and waste storage facilities already, but there's a cultural omerta on the topic.
The real doom of Europe will come when the French won't be able to pay for that shit anymore, and you neighbors will all have a taste of the sweet French-made fallout. :?

I know that and I also know that France provides the UK with energy through nuclear power too.

The issue here is trust: I simply do not trust the chinese government and most certainly not on british soil.

When it all blows up they are safely sitting on the other side of the world leaving Europe to handle the fall out.
"But Lord Sassoon, chair of the China Britain Business Council, told the BBC's Today Programme he could not see what the problem was.
"Why would they want to turn off a nuclear power station in which they had some ownership?
"It doesn't seem terribly logical to me, except in extreme circumstances in which that would be the least of the UK's problems.""
http://www.bbc.com/news/business-34587650

Sassoon clearly has no idea what it means to have the means of an irrecoverable disaster, sitting time bomb on your own turf. The man is clearly delusioned.

That is all very reassuring. You wonder how these selfish idiots end up making the big decisions.

Why not have the Russians do the catering for this bonfire whilst we are at it?

If I link to the insanity going on in the Star Wars threads, will that count?

A couple of nutty entries and both have a phallic theme to them:

1. A nutty british bint who is a practitioner of blind date gender-bending strappadichtomy:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/ ... g-sex.html

2. An unlucky german chap who was killed by shrapnel from a condom machine that he blew up:

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-35189938

Certainly a Darwin-Award contender.

What a world we live in.
